    摘要: A bellows-type hydraulic accumulator includes a shell, a bellows unit, and a stay in order to accumulate pressurized liquid within a liquid chamber, divided into a fixed-volume liquid chamber and a variable-volume liquid chamber communicating with the fixed-volume liquid chamber via a communication port formed in the stay. A pipe is inserted into a liquid inlet/outlet port communicating with the fixed-volume liquid chamber, to thereby form an inflow passage inside the pipe and an outflow passage outside the pipe. A tip end of the pipe is located within the communication port of the stay with a predetermined radial clearance formed between the tip end and a wall surface of the communication port, to thereby enable pressurized liquid to be supplied to the variable-volume liquid chamber from the tip end of the pipe and to be discharged from the variable-volume liquid chamber to the fixed-volume liquid chamber via the radial clearance.

    摘要: A water hammer absorber provided in a cold or hot water supply passage including: a tubular portion whose cross section gradually decreases toward a flow direction of cold or hot water until the inner diameter of the portion becomes minimum and then gradually increases toward that direction so that a negative pressure generates therein; and a pressure absorbing chamber which is formed at the minimum inner diametered section of the tubular portion or therearound at the downstream side so as to communicate with the water supply passage and which is provided with a passage-way leading to the atmosphere and a check valve disposed in the passage-way and capable of admitting the entry of air only into the pressure absorbing chamber. The absorber according to the invention is suitably used in the joint of a delivery faucet or a mixing faucet.

    摘要: This invention relates to a pressure vessel for gas and oil under pressure comprising a container of rigid material having a cylindrical body portion defining a mouth at one end and closed at its other end, said closed end having an axial port. An annular supporting member of resilient sheet metal has a cylindrical upper portion of diameter just slightly less than that of the mouth portion of the container so that it may readily fit therein. An annular lower portion depends from said upper portion and the rim of a bladder is bonded to said lower portion, with a portion of the bladder material on the outer surface of said annular lower portion abutting and being compressed against the inner wall surface of the container to define an oil seal. A cylindrical closure plug or cover having an annular groove in the side wall thereof is positioned in the cylindrical upper portion of said supporting member with the inner periphery of the side wall of the plug abutting against and compressing the portion of the bladder material on the inner surface of the annular lower portion of the supporting member to define a gas seal.

    摘要: A pulsation dampener is presented which includes a bladder assembly having a bladder which retains its surface area and therefore its capability to dampen pulsations during pulsation dampening. The bladder is axially and longitudinally symmetrical. The bladder assembly comprises a bladder double sealed at both longitudinal ends by the combination of a bladder anchor bolt and a pressed metal end plate to prevent leakage. Pulsation causes the bladder to assume a clover leaf cross sectional configuration, thereby maintaining the bladder surface area constant regardless of pulsation. One end of the housing is machined so that that end may be pressed to gradually reduce its diameter toward the end while causing the wall thickness of those portions of diminishing diameter to remain essentially identical to the thickness of the unmachined unpressed wall portions of the housing.

An impervious, flexible bag or diaphragm is disposed within the tank and the interior of the bag defines a water chamber while the space between the outer surface of the bag constitutes an air chamber. The lower end of the tank is provided with an opening and the neck of the bag is formed with an enlarged bead that is sealed between a V-shaped recess formed in the flange of the tank bordering the opening and the peripheral edge of an adapter by a clamping ring. The adapter is provided with a series of holes through which water is introduced and withdrawn from the interior of the bag.

    摘要: This invention relates to a pressure vessel and more particularly to a pressure accumulator of the type having a rigid container having a port at one end for flow of fluid therethrough. A deformable partition in the form of a bladder is positioned in the container and is charged with gas under pressure. The closed end of the bladder has an axially mounted button or valve member which will move against the periphery of the container port to close the latter when the bladder is inflated. The button and the periphery of the port define two elements of a valve, at least one of which has a resilient surface preferably of rubber to reduce the impact when the two elements are brought into engagement for closure of the valve.
