摘要: A pressure damping device for a fluid circuit includes a lower body having a fluid inlet port and a fluid outlet port. An upper cover attaches to the body. An elastically deformable membrane is interposed between the body and the cover, and a circular cup is arranged on the membrane. A spring is interposed between the cup and a bottom of the cover. The body includes a support member for supporting the membrane, with the support member projecting from the first bottom and including a free upper end on which the membrane is adapted to be supported.

摘要: Example implementations relate to a pressure regulator assembly for a closed fluid loop of a CDU. The pressure regulator assembly has a cylinder having an internal volume, and first and second hollow pistons slidably connected to the cylinder to split the internal volume into a first volume portion having cooling fluid, a second volume portion having driver fluid, and a third volume portion having compressible matter. The first volume portion is fluidically connected to the closed fluid loop. The first hollow piston is reciprocated by the compressible matter to maintain operating pressure of the cooling fluid in the closed fluid loop. The second hollow piston is driven by the driver fluid in response to predefined pressure drop of the cooling fluid during predefined time period, to inject additional cooling fluid from the first volume portion into the closed fluid loop to restore pressure level of cooling fluid to operating pressure.

摘要: Disclosed is a pulsation dampening system for high-pressure (e.g., 10K psi and higher) fluid lines. At high fluid flow pressures, the dampening system is a dual stage dampening system, responsive to low (e.g., when first charging the fluid line) and to very high-pressure pulsations. An external containment shell handles the full fluid flow pressures. One or more internal shells contain and handle the internal gas dampening system. The in-flow relationship of the gas dampening component assures that pressure differences between the internal gas handling system and the high-pressure fluid flow is always relatively small. This enables the gas handling components to be constructed of less robust material than the external shell (even though the gas system's internal pressure can equal that of the fluid flow), and be less susceptible to pressure failure.

摘要: A device designed to relieve expanded volume, flow and pressure within a water pipe system by utilizing a pair of spring loaded pistons within a valve body, such that the increases volume caused by various sources can be accommodated within the valve body by the spring loaded pistons. The device allows normal flowing under regular operating parameters and will perform its function automatically as the flow and pressure increases beyond the spring setting. The device will reset to its starting configuration after the operating parameters return to normal without external monitoring or input.

摘要: A bladder and attachment member assembly for use with a container comprises an elastomeric gas-filled bladder comprising a valve stem. A first attachment member is disposed over the valve stem within the container with the bladder. A second attachment member is disposed over the valve stem and over the first attachment member. The second attachment member is outside of the container interposed between the valve stem and a container opening. Rotational movement of the valve stem is fixed relative to one or both of the first and second attachment members. In an example, the valve stem comprises one or more surface features that register with one or more surface features of the first and/or second attachment member to thereby fix relative valve stem rotational movement. In an example, the valve stem surface feature is a flat surface that registers with a flat surface of the second attachment member inside diameter.

An example method includes restraining movement of a piston slidably disposed within the fluid container in a first piston position, wherein the piston divides the fluid container into first and second portions. The method further includes pumping the liquid into the first portion to compress gas located within the first portion, stopping the pumping of the liquid into the first portion, and stopping the restraining of movement of the piston to permit the piston to move to a second piston position due to expansion of the gas compressed within the first portion.

摘要: A subsea drilling system with a subsea component controllable by a fluid supply source. The system includes a pressure dampener in fluid communication between the fluid supply source and the subsea component. The pressure dampener includes a body consisting of a dampener fluid flow path which consists of a volume and a biasing system. The biasing system includes a piston biased to an initial position, wherein the piston is configured to move from the initial position to expand the volume of the dampener fluid flow path and dampen a pressure surge received by the pressure dampener and wherein the biasing system is configured to contract the volume of the dampener fluid flow path by returning the piston toward the initial position after dampening the pressure surge.

摘要: Disclosed is an absorber system for absorbing pressure shocks and fluid volume shocks in a fluid system. In particular, the absorber system includes a housing with a joint for insertion within a fluid system, wherein the housing interior is in fluid communication with fluid in the fluid system. As such, when a pressure and/or fluid volume shock is developed within the fluid system, fluid is forced into the housing via the joint. A membrane is disposed within the housing in such a way that the fluid impacts the membrane which, in response, flexes to absorb and control the pressure and/or fluid volume shock within the fluid system. The absorber system, thus, controls pressure and/or fluid volume shock within a system and can prevent water hammer and other problems which can result from the development of pressure and/or fluid volume shock.

摘要: A fluid tank has a housing that has an upper end wall, a side wall, and a lower end wall that together define a cavity. A flexible diaphragm is connected to the side wall within the cavity and separates the cavity into an upper portion, which is sealed to contain a pressurized gas, and a lower portion, which is sealed to contain a pressurized fluid. An indicator is positioned in the upper wall of the housing and has an indicator arm and a visual indicator. The indicator arm is not visible and the visual indicator is visible with the indicator in a first position and the indicator arm is visible and the visual indicator is not visible with the indicator in a second position.
