摘要： A mass spectrometer is connected to a vacuum system which includes a vacuum-pumping system and which is communicated with the vessel under test exposed to a suitable probe gas. The vacuum-pumping system consists of a first stage in the form of a mechanical roughing pump for reducing the system pressure to roughing pressure, and a second stage in the form of a highvacuum pump which comprises an electronic getter-ion (sublimation) pump for pumping the chemically active nonnoble gases in combination with a Penning discharge chamber which houses discharge cathodes exposed to the deposit of the getter material from the getter-ion pump for pumping the noble gas.

摘要： A high PAR maintenance rate type high pressure sodium lamp with an auxiliary starting switch is provided with an external glass tube and a discharge tube which is arranged at the center in the external glass tube and coaxial with the external glass tube. The surface of the discharge tube is provided with a metal lead. The left and right ends of an external glass shell are provided with pressure sealing plates which are fused and sealed through high temperature. The pressure sealing plates are internally provided with conductive sheets. One end of the discharge tube is connected with the conductive sheet of the left end through a left internal conductive support, and the other end is connected with the conductive sheet of the right end through an auxiliary starting switch component. According to the high pressure sodium lamp, the high pressure sodium lamp can be quickly lit up through a temperature controlled switch so that the high pressure sodium lamp has the advantages of being great in starting performance, great in lighting effect, high in stability, long in the service life, great in high temperature resistance and high pressure resistance and safe and reliable and is not liable to crack.

The pipe includes an inner tube configured for carrying a heated heat transfer fluid, an outer tube surrounding the inner tube, wherein the space between the inner and outer tube is evacuated, and a getter restraint structure configured for maintaining getters in a predetermined position. The getter restraint structure is in contact with the outer tube and otherwise entirely free of contact with the inner tube and/or is in thermal isolation from the inner tube.

摘要： A fluorescent lighting device includes a ballast and a tube. An amalgam is located within the tube. A resistive heater is operatively coupled with the ballast, to receive electrical power from the ballast while the fluorescent lighting device is in an OFF state. The resistive heater is mounted near the amalgam to transfer heat to the amalgam while the fluorescent lighting device is in the OFF state.

摘要： In accordance with certain embodiments, the present technique includes a system for sealing a lamp including a thermal shield and a thermally susceptible enclosure disposed adjacent the thermal shield. The thermal shield has a first receptacle adapted to receive a first portion of the lamp. The thermally susceptible enclosure comprises a wall about a second receptacle adapted to receive a second portion of the lamp. The wall has a varying thickness in a desired sealing region between the first and second portions of the lamp.
