    Abstract: A magnetometer includes a vapor cell having at least one wall, a chamber defined by the at least one wall, and alkali metal atoms disposed in the chamber to produce an alkali metal vapor in the chamber, wherein the at least one wall includes an oxide-containing interior surface; and an anti-relaxation coating disposed on the oxide-containing interior surface of the at least one wall of the vapor cell, wherein the anti-relaxation coating is a reaction product of the oxide-containing interior surface of the at least one wall with at least one mono- or dichlorosilane compound.

    Abstract: The invention described herein generally pertains to a composition that includes a silyl-terminated polymer having silyl groups linked to a polymer backbone via triazole. The silyl-terminated polymer is a reaction product of a functionalized polymer backbone and a functionalized silane. The polymer backbone includes a first functional group, which may be one of an azide or an alkyne. The functionalized silane includes a second functional group may also be one of an azide or an alkyne, but is also different from the first functional group. The functionalized polymer backbone is reacted with the functionalized silane in the presence of a metal catalyst.

    Abstract: Ambient temperature curing coating composition comprising a polysiloxane having the formula: wherein each R1 is selected from the group consisting of alkyl, aryl, and alkoxy groups having up to six carbon atoms, reactive glycidoxy groups, and OSi(OR3)3 groups, wherein each R3 independently has the same meaning as R1, each R2 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and alkyl and aryl groups having up to six carbon atoms, and wherein n is selected so that the molecular weight of the polysiloxanes is in the range of from 500 to about 2,000, an alkoxysilyl-functional acrylic polymer, and a curing catalyst. The invention further relates to the preparation of an alkoxysilyl-functional acrylic polymer.
