摘要: A throttle device for controlling a fuel quantity to be supplied to a fuel injection nozzle includes a control chamber and a supply device for supplying fuel to the control chamber. The supply device includes an inlet throttle having a length selected such that a fuel flowing through the inlet throttle, when in operation, flows through the inlet throttle in a turbulent flow. An injection device including the throttle device is also provided.

摘要: Disclosed is a fuel injection control device for an engine equipped with a solenoid-type fuel injector 67. The fuel injection control device comprises: a voltage sensor SW19 configured to detect a voltage of a solenoid of the fuel injector 67; and a PCM 10 configured to set a valve-open period of the fuel injector 67, based on a fuel injection amount according to an operation state of the engine 1, and control the fuel injector 67 based on the valve-open period. The PCM 10 is configured to perform correction for gradually shortening the set valve-open period, as the voltage (residual voltage) detected by the voltage sensor SW19 when opening the fuel injector becomes larger, and control the fuel injector 67 based on the corrected valve-open period.

摘要: A solenoid assembly of a fuel pump is disclosed, including a housing having an open end and a partly closed end; a pole piece fixedly disposed within the housing; a bobbin assembly disposed within the housing and including a coil disposed proximal to the pole piece; and a bobbin retainer disposed between the open end of the housing and the bobbin assembly, a radially outer surface of the bobbin retainer contacting the housing. A portion of the housing which is adjacent the bobbin retainer has an outer surface that is recessed and an inner surface that protrudes against the bobbin retainer. The portion is created by deforming the housing to create the protrusion on the inner surface of the housing. The housing inner surface protrusion provides a press fit engagement with the bobbin retainer.

摘要: A fuel injector for an internal combustion engine is disclosed. The fuel injector is particularly suitable for use as a dual fuel injector, and comprises a generally tubular outer valve needle, an inner valve needle slidably received in the outer valve needle, and a nozzle body assembly comprising a tip part and a needle guide part. The tip part defines a seating region for the outer valve needle, and the needle guide part comprises a guide bore for slidably receiving the outer valve needle. In one embodiment, a lower bore region of the needle guide part defines a. cavity around the outer valve needle which houses a biasing spring for the outer valve needle and a fuel. A collar for seating the biasing spring can be dimensioned to allow free flow of the fuel from the cavity into an annular accumulator volume defined between the outer valve needle and the bore of the tip part.

摘要: A high pressure fuel pump includes: a pump body that forms a suction passage and a pressurizing chamber and slidably supports a plunger; and a control valve that opens a connection between the suction passage and the pressurizing chamber in a suction stroke, during which the plunger is driven toward a suction side for suctioning fuel into the pressurizing chamber, while the control valve controls closing timing, at which the connection between the suction passage and the pressurizing chamber is closed by the control valve in a delivery stroke, during which the plunger is driven toward a delivery side for delivering the fuel out of the pressurizing chamber. The pump body forms a release passage that is communicated with the suction passage. The release passage relieves the fuel, which is pressurized by the plunger, from the pressurizing chamber before the closing timing during the delivery stroke.

Included in the fuel injector is a body having a chamber and a pilot valve assembly including a seat retainer configured to be detachably insertable into the chamber of the body. A pilot valve seat is disposed in the seat retainer and substantially enclosed by the seat retainer. A stator assembly is disposed in the seat retainer and at least partially enclosed by the seat retainer. The pilot valve seat and the stator assembly in the pilot valve assembly are replaceable as a single unit of the pilot valve assembly for the fuel injector.

The method may further comprise powering on the lift pump before the fuel rail pressure decreases below to the threshold to prevent fuel rail pressure from decreasing below the threshold.
