    Abstract: Embodiments relate to image signal processors (ISP) that include binner circuits that down-sample an input image. An input image may include a plurality of pixels. The output image of the binner circuit may include a reduced number of pixels. The binner circuit may include a plurality of different operation modes. In a bin mode, the binner circuit may blend a subset of input pixel values to generate an output pixel quad. In a skip mode, the binner circuit may select one of the input pixel values as the output pixel pixel. The selection may be performed randomly to avoid aliasing. In a luminance mode, the binner circuit may take a weighted average of a subset of pixel values having different colors. In a color value mode, the binner circuit may select one of the colors in a subset of pixel values as an output pixel value.

    Abstract: A voltage regulator circuit included in a computer system may employ a control circuit and a switch array that includes multiple switch circuits. Different groups of switch circuits that include respective groups of switch devices are coupled between an input power supply node and corresponding regulated power supply nodes. To maintain desired respective voltages on the regulated power supply nodes, the control circuit compares the voltages of the regulated power supply nodes to corresponding reference voltages and, based on results of the comparisons, opens and closes various ones of the switch devices included in the different groups of switch circuits.

    Abstract: Wearable electronic devices can provide user-facing sensors to track facial features of a person wearing the wearable electronic device. Detections can be transmitted to other wearable electronic devices so that avatars of the person can be displayed thereon. The users observing such avatars can respond to the selected level of realism, and the wearable electronic devices worn by such users can detect or otherwise receive feedback from the users, for example with sensors to track facial features. Such reactions can be used to determine whether the avatar should be adjusted, for example to be more cartoonlike or lifelike. Additionally, reactions over time can be tracked to determine a user's overall responsiveness to cartoonlike or lifelike avatars, and futures avatars can be generated based on such determinations.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides techniques for recovery techniques to address link failure in multi-hop backhaul relay network. For example, a central unit (CU) node receives, uplink transmissions originating from a user equipment (UE) via a backhaul relay including a first distributed unit (DU) node and a second DU node. The CU then receives a first UL status message associated with a link failure between the first DU node the second DU node. Then the CU generates a second UL status message indicating a sequence number (SN) of a lost packet caused by the link failure or a SN of a last successfully received packet before the link failure, and transmits the second UL status message to the first DU node.
