Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for improving wireless network performance and efficiency by dynamically configuring network selection and session management functions within a wireless networking environment are described. In some cases, a network and service management system within the wireless networking environment may perform adjustments to the configuration of network slices and protocol data unit (PDU) sessions associated with user equipment (UE) devices utilizing network services provided by the wireless networking environment. The network and service management system may utilize machine learning techniques to provide real-time selection and reconfiguration of network slices and PDU sessions running within the wireless networking environment.

Abstract: Various arrangements for dynamically adjusting physical resource block (PRB) usage on a cellular network are presented. A primary entity may be determined to be exercising its priority to spectrum overlapping PRBs used by the cellular network. A frequency band being used by the primary entity based on measuring the signal strengths of wireless transmission by the primary entity can be determined. Subcarriers of the PRBs are identified that overlap the frequency band. A predefined Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) format can be selected based at least in part on the identified subcarriers. A predefined Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) format can be selected based at least in part on the identified plurality of subcarriers.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for prediction-based non-terrestrial network beam configuration and switching are provided. A base station determines a bandwidth part configuration for a user equipment, which includes a plurality of bandwidth parts respectively corresponding to a plurality of geographic areas. The base station configures the user equipment with the bandwidth part configuration and determines a position or movement of the user equipment in a first geographic area corresponding to a first bandwidth part. The base station determines, based on the position or movement, whether a criterion for reconfiguring the bandwidth part configuration is met. In response to determining that the criterion is met, the base station reconfigures the bandwidth part configuration of the user equipment while the user equipment is positioned in the first geographic area. The reconfiguration includes modifying the plurality of bandwidth parts to include a second bandwidth part corresponding to a second geographic area.

Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods for sharing a cellular wireless telecommunication network radio unit (RU) by multiple different mobile network operators (MNOs). The system causes the functionality of the RU to be concurrently provided as a service to a plurality of different MNOs which may also use shared spectrum frequency bands. Abstract: A topology-reprogrammable test environment is provided that can support the needs of CI/CD/CV in the field. The CDT has at least two personalities, e.g., an emulator of the CNF in the same NC or a nodal of the CNF. The choice of personality of the CDT is controlled by the CTA of the NC. A number of NCs use a 3D IP address to interconnect and form a new kind of CNN over the infrastructure of VRs.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for identifying backup candidate cell sites for a primary cell site are described. A backup candidate cell site may comprise a cell site that is available to replace or support a primary cell site that serves a coverage area in the event that the primary cell site fails or experiences a significant reduction in signal transmission capability. Abstract: Various hybrid cellular communication systems and methods are presented herein. A first cellular network can include multiple user plane functions (UPFs). Each UPF can serve as a gateway for user equipment (UE) to communicate with a remotely-hosted service. Which UPF serves as the gateway for a UE is adjusted while the UE remains connected with the first cellular network. While connected with the first cellular network, a multiple access (MA) packet data unit (PDU) session is active for the UE that allows for communication to occur concurrently between the UE and the remotely-hosted service via an access point (AP) and via a UPF. While connected with a second cellular network distinct from the first cellular network, a single access PDU session is active that allows for communication to occur with the service via a second UPF of the second cellular network.
