摘要: A method for minimizing a fuel consumption rate of a vehicle and a method for tracking an optimal state of charge function for a hydrostatic accumulator are provided. The first method includes the steps of providing a motor and pump, determining an efficiency of the motor and pump using an efficiency map, providing a power source, and controlling the motor independent from the pump with a controller. The controller employs the efficiency of the motor and the pump to minimize the fuel consumption rate of the vehicle. The second method includes the steps of determining the optimal state of charge control function, calculating an optimal state of charge of the hydrostatic accumulator, determining a state of charge error, calculating a corrective value, and adjusting a state of a charge based on the corrective value and the state of charge error by adjusting the charge of the hydrostatic accumulator.

摘要: A system and method for updating a set of filling parameters for a wet clutch system is provided. The clutch comprises a piston, a proportional valve, a controller, and a sensor. The method comprises the steps of providing the wet clutch system, providing the set of filling parameters, actuating the wet clutch system based on at least one of the set of filling parameters, sensing a response of the wet clutch system during actuation of the wet clutch system, comparing an observed filling parameter to at least one of the set of filling parameters, calculating a fill error between the observed filling parameter and the at least one of the set of filling parameters, and adjusting a plurality of the set of filling parameters based on the fill error.

摘要: A method of operating a driveline including a powersplit transmission is provided. The driveline may be operated in a hydrostatic power transmission mode and a blended hydrostatic/mechanical power transmission mode. The method comprises the steps of providing a hydrostatic circuit, detecting a rapid deceleration of the vehicle, and adjusting a threshold of at least one pressure relief valve forming a portion of the hydrostatic circuit in response to the sudden deceleration. The at least one pressure relief valve facilitates quickly changing the driveline from the blended hydrostatic/mechanical power transmission mode to the hydrostatic power transmission mode.

摘要: Embodiments for a torque vectoring unit for an electric vehicle are provided herein. In an example, a torque vectoring unit includes an inner rotor, an outer rotor enclosing the inner rotor, and a stator enclosing the outer rotor, with the inner rotor, the outer rotor and the stator being concentrically arranged to one another. The inner rotor is drivingly connectable to a first wheel and the outer rotor is drivingly connectable to a second wheel, and the inner rotor and the outer rotor represent a first electric motor and the outer rotor and the stator represent a second electric motor.
