The filter of the present invention includes an upper capsule member, a lower capsule member, and a filter medium. The upper capsule member has a central connecting port and a peripheral connecting port, and also has a pipe section that extends, within the capsule, from the peripheral connecting port to the vicinity of the bottom surface (the deepest section) of the lower capsule member. A liquid supplied from the peripheral connecting port via the pipe section is filtered through the filter medium, and the filtered liquid is output from the central connecting port.

    摘要: An ink jet printer which uses a common air pump to configure an air path system to supply purge air generated by the air pump to an ink tank and then supply the purge air discharged from the ink tank to a print head or an air path system to supply purge air generated by the air pump directly to the pint head. This solves the following problem inherent to a conventional ink jet printer which recovers ink not used for printing: since an air pump for supplying air to air-purge the print head and an air pump for supplying air to air-purge the ink tank are required, the cost and weight of the printer tends to increase.

    摘要: A gas-liquid separator includes a casing with a cylindrical chamber inside, a gas-liquid 2-phase inlet pipe which is attached to a wall of the casing and connected to the chamber, a gas outlet pipe for discharging the gas of a gas-liquid mixture flowing into the chamber, and the gas-liquid 2-phase outlet pipe for discharging the liquid as a most part of the gas-liquid mixture flowing into the chamber. A gap is formed around the gas-liquid outlet pipe in the chamber for separating the mixture into liquid and gas using the surface tension and suction force. The gas-liquid separator is installed in the inkjet recording apparatus, especially in the print head. The print head is filled with the solvent gas so as to be suctioned from the gutter to reduce the solvent consumption.
