摘要： A portable radio (100) provides a voice control feature which advantageously enables radio users to perform talk group changes by using voice as an input medium to the radio device. Activation of a voice control button (110) and verbal entry of a valid talk group control command enables a change in talk group. The portable radio (100) comprises a controller (102) having a code plug (120) pre-programmed with a plurality of talk group alias names, and an automatic speech recognition (ASR) engine (118) providing voice control entry detection to the portable radio. The controller (102) enables a change in talk group in response to the ASR engine (118) detecting that the voice control entry is a valid talk group control command. Shortened audible confirmations of talk group change are generated using the alias names.

摘要： Improved audio processing management in a portable converged communication device is provided. A default mode of audio processing is provided where audio input to a microphone is routed and processed simultaneously to a plurality of different processors in parallel. The default mode is suspended in response to a keyword input to a microphone. The keyword is recognized by a speech recognition engine (ASR). The keyword enables audio processing through one of the plurality of processors while selectively suspending other audio processing through the other processors.

摘要： A device, system and method for installing encrypted data are provided. A device includes a processor comprising: immutable memory storing preconfigured trust anchor data; and a module storing preconfigured non-exportable data. 摘要： A process for scheduling downloads for communication devices connected to a download server through a common access point. In operation, the download server receives a download request from a first communication device. The download request includes a unique access point identifier of a first access point through which the first communication device is connected to the download server. The download server identifies an access point record that is linked to the unique access point identifier of the first access point and updates the identified access point record to include the first communication device in a communication devices list included in the identified access point record. 摘要： When a land mobile radio connection to a land mobile radio network is unavailable for a land mobile radio subscriber device, the subscriber device may connect to an alternative network using an alternative connection. The subscriber device may send a copy of a scan list to a gateway configured to perform remote scan and priority operations, similar to the scan operations the subscriber device may ordinarily perform locally. Using the received scan list, the gateway may evaluate the call notifications, determine whether they should be sent to the subscriber device, and send them to the subscriber device over the alternative connection to the alternative network. The subscriber device may receive call notifications over the alternative connection and join active radio calls over the alternative connection. The subscriber device may be able to alter remote scan and priority operations by dynamically altering and sending the scan list over the alternative connection.
