    摘要: A portable radio (100) provides a voice control feature which advantageously enables radio users to perform talk group changes by using voice as an input medium to the radio device. Activation of a voice control button (110) and verbal entry of a valid talk group control command enables a change in talk group. The portable radio (100) comprises a controller (102) having a code plug (120) pre-programmed with a plurality of talk group alias names, and an automatic speech recognition (ASR) engine (118) providing voice control entry detection to the portable radio. The controller (102) enables a change in talk group in response to the ASR engine (118) detecting that the voice control entry is a valid talk group control command. Shortened audible confirmations of talk group change are generated using the alias names.

A device includes a processor comprising: immutable memory storing preconfigured trust anchor data; and a module storing preconfigured non-exportable data. The processor is configured to: receive an encrypted common protection key, encrypted using a manufacturing protection key, and an encrypted distribution private key, encrypted using a common protection key; obtain the manufacturing protection key using the preconfigured trust anchor data and the preconfigured non-exportable data; decrypt the encrypted common protection key using the manufacturing protection key to obtain the common protection key; decrypt the encrypted distribution private key using the common protection key to obtain a distribution private key; receive an encrypted data package including image-at-rest data encrypted with an image-at-rest key, the encrypted data package including encryption data for obtaining the image-at-rest key using the distribution private key; and install the encrypted data package at the memory.

In operation, the download server receives a download request from a first communication device.     摘要: When a land mobile radio connection to a land mobile radio network is unavailable for a land mobile radio subscriber device, the subscriber device may connect to an alternative network using an alternative connection. The subscriber device may send a copy of a scan list to a gateway configured to perform remote scan and priority operations, similar to the scan operations the subscriber device may ordinarily perform locally. Using the received scan list, the gateway may evaluate the call notifications, determine whether they should be sent to the subscriber device, and send them to the subscriber device over the alternative connection to the alternative network. The subscriber device may receive call notifications over the alternative connection and join active radio calls over the alternative connection. The subscriber device may be able to alter remote scan and priority operations by dynamically altering and sending the scan list over the alternative connection.
