    摘要: A system and method for dispensing a sealant over aircraft fasteners secured to a surface in the aircraft. The system includes a nozzle tip having a shroud configured for placement over the fasteners. Sealant is metered to the shroud via an orifice within the nozzle tip. The shroud is sized to leave a space between it and the fastener to control the amount of sealant applied to the fastener upper surface and along the interface between the fastener and aircraft surface. Pressurized fluid urges the sealant through the orifice.

In one aspect, a method includes obtaining a license, from a remote server, for a content item to be presented using a player file executed by a multimedia player on a computing device. The license includes an encryption key and an authorization to present the content item using one or more authorized player files. A particular player file is received for use in presenting the content item, and a determination is made whether the particular player file is authorized for use in presenting the content item based on the authorization. The content item is decrypted using the encryption key, and the content item is presented using the particular player file in accordance with the determination.

    摘要: The present application is directed to self-locking surgical fasteners. The fastener generally includes a shaft section, a head section, and one or more locking members. The locking members may be located within the head section. A first portion of the locking members may extend beyond an outer surface of the head section, and a second portion of the locking members may extend into a hollow interior of the head section. A tool used to insert the fastener into the patient engages a receiver portion of the fastener. As the insertion tool engages the receiver, the tool may contact and exert a force on the locking member such that the first portion of the locking member may be retracted within the head section. Upon disengaging the insertion tool from the receiver, the locking member may return to the position extending outward beyond the outer surface of the head section.

    摘要: An HVAC controller may include a user interface, along with a memory for storing a recurring programmable schedule having two or more time periods. The user interface may be configured to allow manual modification by a user of the recurring schedule stored in the memory, wherein the user can associate an HVAC-off control mode with any of the two or more time periods. In the HVAC-off control mode, the HVAC controller may not cycle the HVAC unit on regardless of the temperature of the air in the inside space. The HVAC controller further may include an output that is configured to issue operational commands to the HVAC unit in accordance with the programmable schedule.

    摘要: The new invention allows for easy retrieval of fall backs and eases the initial threading process upon initial opening/use of the package. Threading is done without removing the cap. Several of the embodiments allow refills to be inserted into the canister without removing the lid/cap. The layout of the dispensing system and the geometry and shape of the dispensing orifice/aperture minimize and mitigate product fall backs. The new invention improves performance of the orifices/apertures through unique geometry and shape as well as using different materials from existing products or the combination of multiple materials. Varying orifice diameter, co-molded density and stiffness or geometry of the actual lobes defining the dispensing aperture allows the precise amount of friction to be created in the dispensing opening for selectively grabbing or releasing the towelette, thereby tearing the towelette connecting perforations at just the right time.
