    Abstract: An exhaust system provided with exhaust gas after-treatment for a combustion engine comprising an exhaust pipe and a pumping device, which is buried inside the tank, from which it draws so as to feed a water solution of urea under pressure to an electromagnetic injector; the tank is supplied with urea powder and water, which are mixed on the inside so as to obtain a water solution of urea with a variable concentration; and a water supply circuit to supply water to the tank, which is provided with a first pipe, which draws the water from a basin and is regulated by a first valve, which allows water to be introduced into the tank, if necessary, or to be drained to the surrounding environment when the water quantity already contained in the tank is sufficient.

    Abstract: Method to determine a closing instant of an electromagnetic fuel injector; in a beginning instant of the injection, a positive voltage is applied to a coil of an electromagnetic actuator so as to cause an electric current to circulate through the coil, said electric current determining the opening of an injection valve; in an end instant of the injection, a negative voltage is applied to the coil of the electromagnetic actuator so as to cancel the electric current circulating through the coil; a first voltage time development is detected at least one end of the coil of the electromagnetic actuator after the cancellation of the electric current circulating through the coil; the voltage actuation time development is compared with a voltage comparison time development; and the closing instant of the electromagnetic injector is determined based on the comparison between the voltage actuation time development and the voltage comparison time development.

    Abstract: A rotor for a rotary electric machine; the rotor has: a shaft, which is mounted so as to rotate around a rotation axis; a magnetic core, which is arranged around the shaft and consists of a plurality of lamination sheets stacked together; and a pair of end discs, which are arranged around the shaft at the two opposite ends of the magnetic core and are designed to keep the lamination sheets of the magnetic core stacked together; wherein the end discs are designed to have balancing holes, which dynamically balance the rotor around the rotation axis. Each end disc consists of an inner component with an annular shape, which is arranged around the shaft and is made of a first metal material, and of an outer component with an annular shape, which is arranged around the inner component and is made of a second metal material, which is different from the first metal material and is non-magnetic.

    Abstract: A throttle valve for an internal combustion engine provided with a valve body, a tubular feeding duct defined in the valve body, a throttle plate, and an actuating device which controls rotation of the throttle plate. The actuating device includes an electric motor and an actuating device conditioning circuit defined in the valve body. The conditioning circuit includes a tube made of a first material able to conduct heat, and the valve body is entirely made of a second metal material and is provided with a seat for housing the tube, in which is provided a layer of a structural and heat-conducting resin, interposed between the seat and the tube.

    Abstract: An instrument cluster is provided with a display panel having a plurality of graphic areas and with a backlighting device arranged behind the display panel for backlighting the graphic areas. The backlighting device has at least one light source and at least one light-guide element, which is provided with a receiving portion facing the light source for directly receiving a light beam and with at least one transmitting portion for transmitting and guiding the light towards at least one of the graphic areas. A cover is provided for shielding rays of light passing through the receiving portion and directed onto the display panel. The cover defines a channel, which has an inlet facing the receiving portion and at least one outlet facing one of the graphic areas. The channel is shaped in such a way as to transmit light indirectly from its inlet to its outlet.
