    Abstract: A polyacetal resin composition capable of keeping the generation of formaldehyde from a molded article at a very low level and stably keeping mold deposits at a minimum during molding. The polyacetal resin composition includes at least (A) 100 parts by mass of a polyacetal polymer, (B) 0.01-0.50 parts by mass of an aliphatic carboxylic hydrazide, (C) 0.001-0.50 part by mass of a hydantoin compound having two hydrazinocarbonylalkyl groups, and (D) 0.001-0.30 part by mass of an alkaline earth metal salt of an aliphatic carboxylic acid. The total amount of (B) and (C) is 0.03-0.55 part by mass per 100 parts by mass of the (A) polyacetal polymer.

    Abstract: A polyacetal resin composition and a sliding member, the polyacetal resin composition having excellent performance with respect to friction/abrasion characteristics while maintaining good appearance of a molded article thereof or low occurrence of mold contamination during molding. The polyacetal resin composition contains at least (A) 100 parts by mass of a polyacetal resin, (B) 0.01 part by mass to 1 part by mass of a hindered-phenol-based antioxidant, (C) 0.3 part by mass to 5 parts by mass of silicone oil, (D) 0.1 part by mass to 1.0 part by mass of calcium carbonate, and (E) 0.02 part by mass to 0.2 part by mass of a fatty acid, the calcium carbonate (D) is precipitated calcium carbonate which is not surface-treated and which has an average particle diameter of 1μm or less, and the fatty acid (E) is a C12-30 fatty acid.

    Abstract: A manufacturing method for a thermoplastic aromatic polyester resin composition is disclosed having a step of blending: a thermoplastic aromatic polyester resin A; an alkali composition B containing a thermoplastic aromatic polyester resin a and an alkali compound b; and a carbodiimide compound C. The alkali composition B is preferably a composition in which an aqueous solution of the alkali compound b is melt-kneaded with the thermoplastic aromatic polyester resin a. The carbodiimide compound C preferably contains an aromatic carbodiimide compound. The alkali compound U content in the thermoplastic aromatic polyester resin composition is preferably 10 ppm by mass or more and 100 ppm by mass or less.
