    Abstract: A decorative trim strip is provided comprised of a vinyl plastic body portion having an outer surface covered by a film of metallized polyethylene terephthalate which is adhered to the body portion with the metallized surface facing the outer surface of the body portion. The polyethylene terephthalate is transparent, whereby the metal layer is visible therethrough. The metallized film has edge portions and an intermediate portion therebetween. Only the edge portions of the film are adhered to the outer surface of the body portion. Various structures are provided for inhibiting a bond between the intermediate portion of the metallized face of the polyethylene terephthalate and the outer surface of the vinyl body portion.

    Abstract: A joint is formed between adjacent end portions of a pair of reglets. The reglets include a substantially channel-shaped cross-sectional configuration defined by spaced-apart sidewalls and a bottom wall. The sidewalls have flanges extending outwardly therefrom. The flanges include bottom surfaces having spline receiving recesses therein. Elongated splines are received in the spline receiving recesses for holding adjacent end portions of the reglets together with the flanges substantially aligned.

    Abstract: A waste disposal system of the type including vaporizing means and feed means for feeding liquid and organic waste material to the vaporizing means is provided with means for stopping operation of the feed means while supplying heat to the vaporizing means to raise its temperature substantially above the boiling point of water. The feed means is then started to supply liquid to the vaporizing means whereby the liquid flashes into steam substantially instantaneously and breaks caked deposits from the walls of the vaporizing means.
