Abstract:
The present invention provides an ink-jet printing head, and an ink-jet printing apparatus and method which enable high-gradation and high-quality images to be printed using dots of different sizes. In an ink-jet printing head according to the present invention, at least one second nozzle has its center arranged on an imaginary line extending in a main-scanning direction of the printing head through the center of a first nozzle. The volume of an ink droplet ejected through the second nozzle is smaller than that of an ink droplet ejected through the first nozzle. Further, the number of second nozzles is larger than that of first nozzles.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a rubbing cloth for use in manufacturing liquid crystal display panels which consists of a velvet fabric having a ground sheet texture comprising warps and wefts, and pile yarns woven to the ground sheet texture in the warp direction, wherein synthetic fibers as the warps were woven with combination of different tensions of the synthetic fibers, or the ground sheet texture comprises warps with combination of different feed lengths, so that the pile yarns are stably inclined.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a seatbelt reminder system which includes a first reminder unit (S301) which gives a first reminder when a first condition having an unfastened state of a seatbelt as at least a fulfilling condition is satisfied, a second reminder unit (S306) which gives a second reminder when a second condition having the unfastened state of the seatbelt as at least a fulfilling condition is satisfied, and a reminder-start delay unit (S305) which delays start of the second reminder when the second reminder by the second reminder element is started.
Abstract:
This invention attempts to provide a method for producing a DNA chip which can be accomplished in simple steps at a low cost, and wherein use of the resulting DNA chip reduces loss of probes and sample substances in the washing step enabling efficient use of such probe and sample. This invention also attempts to provide a DNA chip produced by such method. Accordingly, a method for producing a DNA chip comprising a substrate and a DNA-binding layer formed on the substrate wherein said DNA-binding layer is a diamond like film having a DNA-binding group is provided, and this method comprises the steps of: reducing pressure of a vacuum chamber to a predetermined degree of vacuum; feeding the chamber with a gas which is the source of said diamond like film; feeding the chamber with a gas which is the source of nitrogen; and forming the diamond like film having a DNA-binding group on the substrate by CVD. Also provided is the DNA chip produced by such method.
Abstract:
The present invention materializes a liquid-crystal display element and a liquid-crystal display device which promise superior display performance, in which the surface of an alignment film formed on a substrate member has been subjected to rubbing in the state the surface potential of a rubbing roller has been controlled by bringing a charge control member made to have the same potential as the potential of the substrate member into contact with the rubbing roller, to keep any foreign matter from adhering to the alignment film surface.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a control apparatus capable of more effectively utilizing radio resources. Mobile stations positioned close to each other are treated as one group, and a direction and width (radiation angle) of a beam radiated from an adaptive array antenna 11 is controlled for each group so that one beam capture one group. To be concrete, a plurality of mobile stations are classified into groups by a classification section 19, and an area to which each group moves is estimated by a directivity determination section 20. The adaptive array antenna 11 is controlled by the directivity control section 15 so that one beam can cover an area in which one group is positioned and the area to which this one group moves.
Abstract:
A seat occupation is judged with a load detector arranged at a seat for detecting a load on the seat and a seat condition detection means arranged at the seat for providing discrimination between an adult and a child seat on the seat. A judging means judges that a child seat is set on the seat when the load detection means detects the load corresponding to that of adult and the seat condition detection means detects that the child seat on the seat. The seat condition detection means may comprise an electrostatistic sensor for detecting a capacitance that is increased by the body of the passenger or a pressure detection element array arranged on the sitting portion. The detected capacitance or the pressure distribution is different between a child seat and an adult or a passenger.
