摘要: An inkjet print head and manufacturing method includes a substrate, an insulating layer formed on a surface of the substrate to have an electrode formation space, an electrode formed in the electrode formation space to be positioned on the same plane with the insulating layer, a heater formed on upper surfaces of the insulating layer and the electrode, and a passivation layer formed on the insulating layer and the heater. The heater is formed to be flat on the insulating layer and the electrodes, thereby reducing the thickness of the passivation layer. Further, copper having relatively high electric conductivity is used as a material of the electrodes, which apply current to the heater to generate heat, instead of aluminum, thereby increasing a degree of freedom in the thickness of the electrodes. Further, uniform current can be applied to the respective heaters at different positions in single firing and full firing of ink, thereby reducing entire input energy and also improving ink ejection stability and reliability of the inkjet print head.

摘要: A DC-AC converter has two half-bridge circuits using an input feedback signal and an input clock signal together with time delay circuits, wherein one of the half-bridge circuits drives one pair of corresponding FETs and the other half-bridge circuit drives the other pair of corresponding FETs. The DC-AC converter includes: a Direct Current (DC) power source; a switching unit which includes a plurality of Field Effect Transistors (FETs) for changing paths of Direct Current (DC), so as to convert the DC to Alternating Current (AC); a transformer for transforming a voltage input from the switching unit; a load unit connected to the transformer; and a signal control unit for simultaneously parallel control of the FETs in the switching unit.

摘要: A cooling system controller for a vehicle includes a radiating rate measurement unit measuring the radiating rate of a radiator, a heating rate estimation unit estimating the heating rate of a heat generating device such as an engine, transmission and brake, a heat balance comparing unit calculating a heat balance error quantity by comparing the radiating rate measured by the radiating rate measuring unit with the heating rate estimation forecasted by the heating rate estimating unit, and calculating a radiating rate follow-up value in order to achieve a heat balance with the heating rate estimate, an adaptive control unit learning state changes of the radiating device and the heat generating device and adaptively-controlling the cooling system according to the heat balance comparison by the heat balance comparing unit, and a cooling fan control unit controlling the operation of a cooling fan in order to meet the radiating rate follow-up value calculated by the heat balance comparing unit. The cooling system controller is capable of improving the cooling efficiency of the radiator by maintaining the coolant temperature as high as possible, and minimizing the required power for the cooling fan by maintaining the cooling fan speed as low as possible.

摘要: A method for preparing diarylethane is disclosed. Alkylation is carried out in a continuous type process at 100-300° C. under a pressure of 1-45 kg/cm2 G in the presence of a solid acid catalyst while a reactant mixture comprising alpha-methylbenzylalcohol and at least one aromatic hydrocarbon at a volume ratio of 1:1-10, is fed at a weight hourly space velocity of 0.1-10 h−1. The alpha-methylbenzylalcohol acts as an ailylating agent. Diarylethane can be prepared at a low cost, but a high production yield by the method.

摘要: An apparatus for enhanced light transmission through a perforated metal film is provided. The apparatus comprises a metal film having a first surface and a second surface, at least one aperture provided in the metal film and extending from the first surface to the second surface, and first and second dielectric layers. The first dielectric layer is provided substantially adjacent to the first metal film surface, and the second dielectric layer is provided substantially adjacent to the second metal film surface. The respective refractive indices of the first and second dielectric layers are substantially equal. Light incident on one of the surfaces of the metal film interacts with a surface plasmon mode on at least one of the surfaces of the metal film thereby enhancing transmission of light through the at least one aperture in the metal film. The apparatus may have a single aperture or a plurality of periodically arranged apertures, and the metal film surface may be provided with or without a periodic surface topography for further enhanced transmission. Wavelength-selective optical filters, spatial optical filters, light collectors, near-field scanning optical microscope probes and photolithographic masks are also provided.
