Abstract: A method for preparing p-xylene is provided. Raw materials containing methanol, naphtha and CO2 are introduced into a reactor filled with a catalyst for a reaction to produce p-xylene. By adding the methanol, the product distribution is adjusted, and the selectivity of p-xylene is obviously improved. In addition, components containing benzene and toluene in aromatic hydrocarbon products are returned to a reaction system and co-fed with the raw materials for a reaction to produce p-xylene, so that cyclic utilization of the raw materials is achieved, and the method has extremely high economic benefits. The method has a simple process and high feasibility, can greatly improve the selectivity and yield of p-xylene, has an important application value, and provides a new way for large-scale utilization of CO2.

Abstract: The addition of small amounts of alkaline earth metal oxides (CaO, MgO) as the isomerization function and transition metal oxides (such as MoO3, WO3) as the metathesis function significantly enhances the production of propylene using zeolites. Once the light olefins are formed by cracking on the acid sites of the zeolite, the 1-butene molecules undergo isomerization catalyzed by alkali earth metal oxides and then react with ethylene to produce more propylene.

Abstract: A fluidized bed reactor, a device for preparing low-carbon olefin, and a method for preparing low-carbon olefin are provided. The reaction zone of the fluidized bed reactor is sequentially, from bottom to top, provided with a raw material first distributor, a raw material second distributor and a catalyst distributor; the catalyst distributor is connected with the catalyst second feeding inlet; a dense-phase zone is formed between the raw material first distributor and the raw material second distributor, and the area where the catalyst distributor is located is formed as a catalyst distribution zone connected with the dense-phase zone; and at least one catalyst first feeding inlet(s) is provided on the side wall of reactor of the dense-phase zone. The distribution of the catalyst and the full contact of the catalyst with the raw materials can be achieved using the fluidized bed reactor and the device.

Abstract: Provided is a method for converting waste plastic pyrolysis oil into light olefins with a high yield. The method includes: (1) inputting waste plastic pyrolysis oil into a reactor; (2) allowing the waste plastic pyrolysis oil to react in the reactor in the presence of a catalytic cracking catalyst containing a first metal and a second metal to form a product; and (3) recovering light olefins by separating the catalytic cracking catalyst and oil from the product obtained in step (2).

Abstract: Process for the preparation of a catalyst and a catalyst comprising enhanced mesoporosity is provided herein. Thus, in one embodiment, provided is a particulate FCC catalyst comprising 2 to 50 wt % of one or more ultra stabilized high SiO2/Al2O3 ratio large pore faujasite zeolite or a rare earth containing USY, 0 to 50 wt % of one or more rare-earth exchanged large pore faujasite zeolite, 0 to 30 wt % of small to medium pore size zeolites, 5 to 45 wt % quasi-crystalline boehmite 0 to 35 wt % microcrystalline boehmite, 0 to 25 wt % of a first silica, 2 to 30 wt % of a second silica, 0.1 to 10 wt % one or more rare earth components showiomg enhanced mesoporosity in the range of 6-40 nm, the numbering of the silica corresponding to their orders of introduction in the preparation process.

Abstract: A process for producing an alkylaromatic compound comprises providing a first feed comprising an alkylatable aromatic compound and a second feed comprising an alkylating agent, wherein at least the first feed contains an impurity compound comprising at least one of nitrogen, halogens, oxygen, sulfur, arsenic, selenium, tellurium, phosphorus, and Group 1 through Group 12 metals The first feed is passed through an adsorbent comprising a metal-organic framework material under conditions effective to reduce the amount of impurity compound in the first feed and produce a purified first feed. The purified first feed and at least part of the second feed are then contacted with an alkylation catalyst composition under alkylation conditions effective to convert at least part of the alkylatable aromatic compound in the purified first feed to the desired alkylaromatic compound and produce an alkylation effluent.

Abstract: Provided is a Fluid Catalytic Cracking catalyst additive composition and method of making the same. The catalyst additive composition comprises zeolite about 35 wt % to about 80 wt %, preferably about 40 wt % to about 70 wt %; silica about 0 wt % to about 10 wt %, preferably about 2 wt % to about 10 wt %; about 10.5 wt % to 20 wt % alumina and about 7 wt % to 20 wt % P2O5, preferably about 11 wt % to about 18 wt %, and the balance clay which can fall between 0 and 50 wt %. The alumina is typically derived from more than one source, such as at least an amorphous or small crystallite size pseudo-boehmite alumina and then either a large crystallite size alumina or other reactive alumina.

According to an electron probe microanalysis (EPMA), the D value of phosphorus in the catalytic cracking agent is ≥65%, preferably ≥68%, provided that the active component consists of the phosphorus-modified molecular sieve and the non-phosphorus-modified molecular sieve, or the D value of phosphorus in the catalytic cracking agent is ≥82%, preferably ≥84%, provided that the active component only consists of the phosphorus-modified molecular sieve.
