摘要: A system and method for determining an SMS retransmission schedule is provided. When a special error code is received by an SMSC, the SMSC can calculate the response time. The response time is the time that lapsed between forwarding the SMS message for delivery and receiving an error code. If the response time exceeds a response time threshold, the error code can be considered as falsely generated. A special retransmission schedule can be assigned to the SMS message. If the response time does not exceed a response time threshold, a different retransmission schedule can be assigned to the SMS message.

摘要: System(s) and method(s) are provided for content management, e.g., exchange and manipulation, across devices provisioned through disparate network platforms. Devices can be mobile or stationary, and connect to provisioning network platforms through various network bearers. Through various secure protocols, a client component within a device secures access to content and provides secure delivery thereof. Directives for content manipulation are also delivered securely. Delivery of contents and directives are performed from device to device, routed via gateway nodes within a network platform that provisions the device. In addition, or alternatively, content management can be implemented through an intermediary component, which can also validate devices and secure delivery of content or directives. Alarm signaling among devices provisioned through disparate network platforms also can be securely conveyed. Intermediary component also can be exploited for content management among subscribers of disparate network providers.

摘要: Systems and methods for managing the status of participants of a tele-networking meeting are disclosed. During a tele-networking meeting, a network device may monitor the talk time of each participant of the meeting. If a participant's talk time exceeds the target talk time, the network device may prompt the chair, and the chair may take action. Action may include managing a participants status by muting, disconnecting, or spinning the participant off into a subconference. Additionally, during a tele-networking meeting, a chair may also create a subconference on network device. Thus, the chair may be able to spin off participants of a tele-networking meeting into a subconference controlled by a subchair.

摘要: A mobile device for interacting with electronic content may be provided. The mobile device may include an input device. The input device may include a touch surface such as a touch screen, a touch pad, or the like. A user may perform one or more gestures on the touch surface of the input device. Additionally, the mobile device may include an accelerometer or other suitable sensing device integrated therein. The user may also perform one or more gestures with the mobile device that may be detected by the accelerometer or other suitable seasoning device integrated therein. The mobile device may then perform one or more actions on the electronic content based on the gestures detected on the touch surface and/or the accelerometer or other suitable sensing device.

摘要: A traction drive system for an articulated robotic arm. The traction drive system can include an input drive disk, a spider, an array of traction balls, a traction plate, an output drive shaft, a clamping device to load the traction balls, and an absolute rotation position sensor system. The rotation of the output drive shaft can be coupled to the rotation of the input drive disk while the traction balls are frictionally engaged to the drive disk surface and traction plate surface. The rotational connection can be decoupled when the traction balls are not frictionally engaged to the drive disk surface and traction plate surface. A rotational position sensor located in proximity to the traction drive can provide absolute rotational position feedback of the output drive shaft.

摘要: System(s) and method(s) are provided that facilitate managing routing voice and data traffic, associated with a subscription, when there are multiple devices. A client component can manage which communication device of multiple communication devices of a subscriber is active on the network at a given time for the subscriber based in part on location of a mobile device associated with the subscriber, a subscriber profile, and predefined routing criteria, which can facilitate optimal device selection. The mobile device can communicate via a macro network when outside of an area served by consumer premise equipment of the subscriber; and when the mobile device is in the area served by the consumer premise device, voice and data traffic directed to the mobile device can be automatically routed to one of multiple communication devices connected to the consumer premise equipment. The subscriber profile can specify routing preferences of the subscriber.

摘要: Media content that meets pre-fetching criteria may be distributed to the device, in a non-requested instance, and stored in the pre-fetched segments database. Rather than relying on caching methods for the first-time access of a media object, at least a portion of the media object may be pre-stored, prior to any requests for access, on the client's device. Thus, when a user attempts to access a particular media stream from the network, if the client's device already has a segment of the desired media object stored, the stored segment access can be directly from the client's device. To further efficiently use bandwidth, the distribution of the segment of a media object to be stored on a user's local machine, the distribution may be done out of band or based on a balance of network resources.
