Abstract: A link error recovery method applied to a transmitter MLD is provided. Links between the transmitter MLD and a receiver MLD include a first link and a second link, and one of the transmitter MLD and the receiver MLD has an STR capability while the other does not have the STR capability. The method includes: determining that transmission of a first PPDU on the first link fails; and transmitting a second PPDU to the receiver MLD at a first moment by using the first link, the second PPDU being used to retransmit an error part in the first PPDU. The first moment is a moment at which the transmitter MLD obtains transmission status information of the second link. Alternatively, the first moment is a moment for transmitting a next PPDU on the first link if the first PPDU is normally transmitted.

Abstract: This application relates to the field of wireless communication, and in particular, to individually addressed traffic indication methods and apparatuses applicable to multiple links, for example, in a wireless local area network supporting an 802.11be standard. In an example method, a first access point (AP) of a first access point multi-link device (AP MLD) generates and sends individually addressed traffic indication information. The individually addressed traffic indication information is used to indicate whether a non-AP MLD associated with the first AP MLD has a downlink individually addressed traffic and whether a non-AP MLD associated with a second AP MLD has a downlink individually addressed traffic. The second AP MLD is an AP MLD to which a non-transmitted AP belongs. The non-transmitted AP is in a multiple basic service set identifier (BSSID) set in which the first AP is located.

Abstract: This application is applicable to a multi-link group addressed traffic transmission method and an apparatus. A first access point (AP) of an AP multi-link device (MLD) sends group addressed traffic indication information indicating whether each AP of other APs of the AP MLD has a group addressed traffic, so that a station (STA) can learn whether the multiple APs have a group addressed traffic. In this way, each STA of the STA MLD does not need to listen to each AP whether each AP has a group addressed traffic. This reduces power consumption of the STA MLD. This application may be applied to a wireless local area network system that supports an IEEE 802.11ax next-generation Wi-Fi EHT protocol, for example, 802.11 series protocols such as 802.11be.

Abstract: This application provides a communications method and a communications apparatus. A first station in a first multi-link device sends first information to a second multi-link device, where the first information is used to indicate a frequency at which a station in a power saving mode in the first multi-link device receives a beacon frame. In this way, the second multi-link device may learn about, based on the first information, a frequency at which a station in the first multi-link device receives a beacon frame, thereby helping the second multi-link device effectively manage a cache service of each station in the first multi-link device and manage a data buffer space.

Abstract: A multi-link communication method and apparatus are provided. The method includes generating, by a first station, a radio frame. The first station is one of multiple stations comprised in a first multi-link device. The multiple stations comprised in the first multi-link device work on multiple links. The multiple links comprise a first link on which the first station works. The method further includes sending, on the first link by the first station, the radio frame to a second station. The radio frame includes at least two management frames. The at least two management frames are generated by at least two stations that work on different links in the first multi-link device. The second station is one of multiple stations included in a second multi-link device.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a wake-up frame transmission method and devices. The method includes: determining, by a first device, an enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA) parameter set of a wake-up frame, where the wake-up frame is used to wake up one or more second devices to receive a data frame; determining, by the first device based on the EDCA parameter set of the wake-up frame, whether a channel resource is in an idle state; and sending, by the first device, the wake-up frame to the second device when the channel resource is in the idle state. In the embodiments of this application, the first device can perform channel resource contention based on the EDCA parameter set corresponding to the wake-up frame, so that a service of a high priority can be obtained by transmitting a wake-up frame of a high priority, thereby improving QoS performance of the wake-up frame.

Abstract: This application provides a wake-up method and device. The method includes: receiving, by a wake-up radio, a first wake-up frame, where the first wake-up frame includes a duration field, and the duration field is used to carry duration information; and waking up, by the wake-up radio, a primary radio based on the duration information. Because a wake-up frame transmitted by an access point includes duration information, a wake-up radio of a station wakes up a primary radio based on the duration information, so that the station can save energy better.
