    摘要: An image processing system includes an image reader for reading image data of original documents, a memory which is capable of storing image data of the original documents of a plurality of pages read by the image reader and a detector for detecting insufficiency of empty capacity of the memory. A first controller executes a writing of a set of image data of the original documents of a plurality of pages into the memory in a prescribed page order, and repeatedly executes a reading of the set of image data from the memory and an image processing thereof. In the event that insufficiency of empty capacity of the memory is detected by the detector during the writing of image data into the memory by the first controller, a second controller holds the image data of the original documents of one or a plurality of pages stored in the memory and executes a subsequent image processing by using the image data held in the memory. A third controller executes a prescribed processing of a re-reading of image data of the original documents corresponding to the image data not held in the memory among the set of image data by the image reader in the subsequent image processing by the second controller.

    摘要: In an image formation apparatus, the control temperature of a heat fixing device includes an operation temperature and a standby temperature that is relatively lower than the operation temperature. When an instruction is designated to start an image formation operation, data associated with the start timing of the first image formation operation is calculated. Control of raising the temperature of a roller for heat fixing from the standby temperature to the operation temperature is initiated so that the heat fixing roller attains the operation temperature at the start timing of an image formation operation. As a result, the time of initiating control to raise the temperature to the operation temperature level is optimized to reduce power consumption without increasing the standby time for an image formation operation.

    摘要: In an interruption process, it is determined whether the sheet feed outlet in the set mode is the same as that in the normal print out operation. If it is determined that the sheet feed outlet is different, a stop request is set to inhibit sheet feeding of the normal job immediately. If it is determined that the sheet feed outlet is the same, a process of transition to interruptive print out is effected while continuing sheet feeding of the normal job. When the print data is determined, the printing for an interruption process is effected.

    摘要: In an image signal processing portion, the size of an original papersheet is detected, and image data is provided with respect to a memory unit. The size of a copy papersheet is detected using a detecting sensor, not shown. Data of an original image is read out by a CCD to be stored in an image memory. When printing is carried out based on the image data, the feeding directions and the sizes of the original papersheet and the copy papersheet are taken into consideration. When the feeding directions of the original and the copy papersheet are the same, only a variable-scale magnification processing portion is activated to carry out only a variable-scale magnification processing. When the feeding directions of the original papersheet and the copy papersheet are different, a rotation and a variable-scale magnification of an image signal are carried out by a rotation processing portion and the variable-scale magnification processing portion. As a result, irrespective of the direction and the size of the original, the image is automatically copied onto the copy papersheet.
