Abstract:
A connection control device acquires information on a position in which a user performs manipulation input to information processing device and information on a travel distance of a portable type mobile terminal. The connection control device compares the acquired pieces of information to determine whether the manipulation input performed by the user corresponds to a travel of the portable type mobile terminal. The connection control device establishes a wireless connection between the information processing device and the portable type mobile terminal according to a determination result.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a steelmaking flux which makes it possible to produce steel of extremely low contents of oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur. The flux consists of, by weight, CaO: 30-57%, Al2O3: 35-64% and MgO: 5-17%, and having a composition in the area defined by the points A to E of Table 1 below in the MgO—CaO—Al2O3 diagram of FIG. 1, in which the activity of alumina is 10−2 or less. Abstract:
There is provided a portable storage device which makes it possible to largely reduce time that is taken to remove the storage cartridge that is inserted and cannot be handled. A removable hard disk cartridge contains a hard disk and a control circuit for control of writing and reading of data in and from the hard disk in a casing thereof. A main unit includes an automatic loading/ejecting mechanism that receives the hard disk cartridge into a predetermined inner position within the main unit and ejects the same out from the position, and a microprocessor that controls storage operation for storing data in the hard disk cartridge. Before the automatic loading/ejecting mechanism performs a receiving operation, it is determined whether access to contents recorded on the hard disk can be gained, and when the access cannot be gained, the receiving operation by the automatic loading/ejecting mechanism is inhibited.
Abstract:
A first playback apparatus instructs a server apparatus to suspend playback of content, and the first playback apparatus stores identification information of the content for which suspension of playback was instructed and suspension information indicating the location at which playback of content was suspended. In response to a request from a second playback apparatus, the first playback apparatus presents the second playback apparatus with the stored suspension information, and the second playback apparatus selects the content, which is to be played back, in accordance with the suspension information presented.
Abstract:
A radio-frequency-signal generator generates an RF signal. An optical monitor monitors a first intensity of a reference signal and a second intensity of a drop signal. A reference-frequency determining unit determines, based on the first intensity, a first frequency of an RF signal that causes the AOTF to output the reference signal. A temperature detecting unit detects a temperature of the AOTF. A frequency calculating unit calculates a second frequency of an RF signal that causes the AOTF to output a drop signal of a desired wavelength. A control unit controls the RF-signal generator to generate the RF signal of the second frequency calculated.
Abstract:
A semiconductor device includes: a plurality of power MOS cells on a semiconductor substrate; a plurality of lead wires connecting to a source and a drain of each power MOS cell through a contact hole; a plurality of collecting electrodes connecting in parallel with the lead wires through a via hole; an interlayer protection film on the collecting electrode; a thick film electrode connecting to the collecting electrode through the opening; and a terminal protection film having an opening for bonding connection. The openings are formed in the interlayer protection film such that a portion between the openings becomes a beam shape
Abstract:
An IrDA control method enabling communication by an optimum procedure without command collision even in an environment where plural host devices and plural peripheral devices exist. The plural host devices respectively have a unique back-off value, and the plural peripheral devices respectively have a unique back-off value. The respective devices perform an Enumeration procedure and a Bind procedure in accordance with the back-off value. Especially when another device is currently performing a series of Enumeration processing, transmission of response command is inhibited. Accordingly, command collision can be avoided, and as a result, communication efficiency and communication stability can be improved.
Abstract:
A digital image forming apparatus is equipped with image input means, image signal storage means and image forming means. The image signal storage means stores image data of a plurality of documents per page. The image forming means forms images on copy paper sheets based on the image data read from the image signal storage means. The digital image forming apparatus is also provided with a saddle stitching mode wherein the image data stored in the image signal storage means is transmitted in sequence to the image forming means so that images are formed on the copy paper sheets in a page order indicated by a page array of saddle stitching corresponding to a total page number of the documents. The digital image forming apparatus is further equipped with mode specification means which make it possible to specify a mode for the spread page that is different from that for the remaining pages. Thus, the digital image forming apparatus creates saddle stitch type prints having the spread page printed in a mode different from that of the remaining pages in easy operation with high reliability.
Abstract:
An image forming system has a folding unit which can fold in two a sheet of paper at a position being slightly offset from the center of the sheet of paper. When an index mode is designated and a location where an index sheet is to be inserted, an index sheet which size is twice the size of a sheet of regular paper is supplied and fed to the folding unit, then is folded and fed to a tray where sheets of regular paper are stacked.
Abstract:
An apparatus allowing double-leaved side wiring or saddle wiring of copied sheets of paper performs the following process for forming an image on a two-page spread. In accordance with the direction of the document set on the apparatus, whether or not the image formed on the document should be divided and turned to an image of a two-page spread is determined. When a two-page spread image is to be formed, a blank page is inserted to the images to be printed on the sheets, or the order of images to be printed is exchanged. Thus an image is properly formed on a two-page spread.
