Watermark extraction and content screening operations, which can include the application of content usage enforcement actions, may be organized such that some or all of the operations can be conducted at different times by different devices. These operations can be conducted by one or more trusted devices that reside in a networked environment. The authenticity of various devices can be verified through the exchange of certificates that can further enable such devices to ascertain capabilities of one another. Based on the ascertained capabilities, an operational configuration for conducting watermark extraction and content screening can be determined.

    摘要: Techniques for protecting the security of digital representations and of analog forms made from them, including a technique for authenticating an analog form produced from the digital representation, an active watermark that contains program code that may be executed when the watermark is read, and a watermark agent that reads watermarks and sends messages with information concerning the digital representations that contain the watermarks. A watermark agent may be a permanent resident of a node in a network or of a device or it may move from one network node to another. The watermark agent executes code which examines digital representations residing in the node or device for watermarked digital representations that are of interest to the watermark agent. The watermark agent then sends messages which report the results of its examination of the digital representations. If the watermarks are active, the agent and the active watermark may cooperate.

    摘要: A lens driving device has a stationary part including an iron shell, a movable part including a lens holder for holding a lens therein, and a driving part for moving the movable part relative to the stationary part. The driving part includes a plurality of magnets fixed to the iron shell, and at least one coil fixed to the lens holder. The magnets are divided into at least two layers stacked in the direction of the optical axis of the lens and a plurality of groups along the circumferential direction of the lens. Each magnet is polarized in the radial direction of the lens. The polarities of two adjacent stacked magnetic poles in the same group are opposite to each other so as to cooperatively form a magnetic circuit in a plane parallel to the optical axis direction. The coil includes an axis about which the coil is wound. The coil axis is perpendicular to the optical axis. The coil has an upper part facing one layer of magnets and a lower part facing the other layer of magnets.

    摘要: A ceramic glow plug which prevents the occurrence of damage on a small diameter portion formed on a rear end portion of a ceramic heater fixed in a metallic outer sleeve. The rear end portion of the ceramic heater is positioned inside the metallic outer sleeve, and the small diameter portion is formed on the rear end portion. The rear-end small diameter portion of the ceramic heater is connected to an electrode lead-out member for taking out a positive electrode of a heat generating material. Granulated powder (alumina, for example) made of inorganic insulating material is filled in around a connecting portion of the ceramic heater in the metallic outer tube and the electrode lead-out-wire, and in addition, an insulating material is sealed outside the granulated powder. Thereafter, swaging is performed to bring the insulating material into a highly dense state thus fixing the electrode lead-out wire and an electrode lead-out rod in the metallic outer sleeve.

    摘要: A method for forming through wafer vias in a substrate uses a Cr/Au seed layer to plate the bottom of a blind trench formed in the front side of a substrate. Thereafter, a reverse plating process uses a forward current to plate the bottom and sides of the blind hole, and a reverse current to de-plate material in or near the top. Using the reverse pulse plating technique, the plating proceeds generally from the bottom of the blind hole to the top. To form the through wafer via, the back side of the substrate is ground or etched away to remove material up to and including the dead-end wall of the blind hole.
