摘要: A marine pipelaying vessel with a pipeline stinger connected to said vessel, preferably pivotable, and forming a downwardly directed support for pipeline to be laid. The vessel further includes a stinger suspension assembly between the stinger and the vessel from which the stinger is suspended at least during operation, preferably the stinger suspension assembly allowing to lower and raise said stinger. The stinger suspension assembly includes a sacrificial stinger impact absorber which is adapted to absorb impact energy resulting from a violent stinger motion, e.g. induced by a freak wave. Preferably, the impact absorber forms an elongatable structure, e.g. a telescopic structure, which is elongated under impact energy absorption.

摘要: The invention relates to a marine pipelaying system comprising a vessel (1) provided with a pipeline launch tower (6). The tower (6) comprises pipe laying equipment defining a tower firing line, and is adapted for launching a pipeline (20) along the firing line into the sea. The system furthermore comprises a hang off module (15) supported in the lower part of the firing line for clamping and supporting the weight of previously launched pipeline (20) as well as a stinger for guiding the launched pipeline (20). The stinger (10) is supported at its upper end in the lower part of the firing line. The stinger is displaceable from the firing line.

摘要: A heave compensation system comprises a motor-generator to interact with a load and a control unit being arranged to control operation of the motor-generator. The control unit is arranged to: operate the motor-generator to drive the load in a first part of a wave motion cycle, and operate the motor-generator to regenerate in a second part of the wave motion cycle at least a part of the energy with which the load has been driven in the first part of the wave motion cycle. The heave compensation system comprises an electrical storage element to buffer at least part of the regenerated energy for powering the motor-generator in a following cycle of the wave motion.

摘要: An amusement device has an elongated track along which one or more amusement device seat assemblies adapted to carry the one or more passengers are moveable. Each seat assembly has a seat with a seating surface and a back support with a back support surface. The seat assembly further includes a bar construction attached to a pivot mechanism. This bar construction has a hip bar and one or more pivot arms integral with the hip bar, which bar construction is pivotable about the pivot axis from a raised position in which the hip bar is raised from the seating surface to allow a passenger to sit down in the amusement device seat assembly, to a lowered position. No part of the bar construction takes away the view of the person and limits the movements of the arms of the person, allowing the passenger to experience a great sense of freedom.

摘要: A rollercoaster amusement device adapted to provide for the passengers a ride wherein the passengers experience at least a portion of the ride in a racing position, the amusement device wherein an endless guide structure at least including multiple curves, one or more carriages displaceable along the guide structure, a passenger assembly associated with a carriage, said passenger assembly being adapted to accommodate at least one passenger such that said passenger experiences at least a portion of the ride in a racing position, a station along said guide structure allowing the passenger to board the passenger assembly. The passenger assembly includes a frame that is connected to the carriage, the frame at least being provided with: a chest support, a back restraining member, and a leg restraining device for each leg, such that in the racing position: the passenger's head is directed forward, the passenger's trunk is resting with its chest side on the chest support, the back restraining member restrains motion of the passenger away from the chest support, the leg restraining devices each hold the respective leg such that the upper leg is angled downward with respect to the trunk and the leg is bend at the knee so that the lower leg is angled rearward with respect to the upper leg. A leg restraining device for restraining a leg includes an upper leg retention member adapted to engage at least the front side of the upper leg, a lower leg retention member adapted to engage at least the front side of the lower leg, so that the upper and lower leg retention members retain the leg while bend at the knee.

摘要: The embodied hoisting mechanism has a hoisting cable, a hoisting-cable drive, a frame and a jib that can be topped. Hoisting-cable drive means form a path for the hoisting cable. A displaceable hoisting-cable guide is used with the hoisting cable so that the displacement of the displaceable hoisting-cable guide changes the length of the path. The displaceable hoisting-cable guide has an associated first hydraulic component with a first chamber that can be connected to a second hydraulic component with a second chamber of variable volume. A pressure source is coupled to the second hydraulic component in order to maintain a substantially constant hydraulic pressure in the second chamber. A pressure-limiting valve assembly, which is partially actuated by a topping-means loading sensor, is incorporated in the connection.

摘要: An amusement device, in particular a roller coaster, for providing a sense of excitement to one or more passengers using the amusement device. The amusement device has an elongated track along which one or more amusement device seat assemblies adapted to carry the one or more passengers are moveable. Each seat assembly has a seat with a seating surface and a back support with a back support surface. The seat assembly further includes a bar construction attached to a pivot mechanism. This bar construction has a hip bar and one or more pivot arms integral with the hip bar, which bar construction is pivotable about the pivot axis from a raised position in which the hip bar is raised from the seating surface to allow a passenger to sit down in the amusement device seat assembly, to a lowered position. The bar construction is such that no part of the bar construction takes away the view of the person and limits the movements of the arms of the person, allowing the passenger to experience a great sense of freedom.The seat assembly further includes a belt construction with two shoulder straps and an adjustable length mechanism associated with each shoulder strap to allow for adaptation of the length of the shoulder straps to the size of the passenger in the lowered position of the bar construction such that the shoulder straps are in physical contact with the shoulders and upper part of the body of a passenger seated in the amusement device seat assembly so as to increase the sense of safety of the passenger.
