摘要: An amusement park ride (1), in particular a rollercoaster, with at least one car (10) which can be moved in an exit direction out of an exit (C) from an amusement park ride (30) with a first orientation (e.g. “forward”) along a route (20) and, after the ride, the car (10) returns via an entrance (D) in an entry direction while maintaining the direction of travel, wherein the amusement park ride area (30) and the route (20) are designed in such a way that, while maintaining the direction of travel, the car (10) enters the entrance (D) of the amusement park ride area (30) in an entry direction, which is the opposite direction to the above-mentioned exit direction, enters, such that, in a subsequent ride, the car travels the route (20) in the opposite orientation (e.g. “backward”) to the first orientation (e.g. “forward”).

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure include systems and methods for securing a rider inside a ride vehicle of an amusement park ride. For example, the disclosed systems and methods include a restraint system (e.g., lap belt, harness, restraint bar (e.g., lap bar, shoulder bar), and the like) that includes a locking mechanism that is activated and deactivated remotely. The remote release locking mechanism includes redundant latches (e.g., a primary latch and at least one secondary, redundant latch) and encompasses a relatively small amount of components housed in a relatively small amount of space.

摘要: An attraction system for entertaining guests includes a millimeter wave (mmWave) sensor configured to transmit a signal within the attraction system and to receive a reflection of the signal and a control system communicatively coupled to the mmWave sensor. The mmWave sensor is configured to transmit data to the control system based on the reflection of the signal, and the control system is configured to perform operations that include determining a target operation of the attraction system based on the data received from the mmWave sensor and operating the attraction system based on the target operation.

摘要: A wearable visualization device includes a housing, one or more lenses coupled to the housing and configured to display virtual features for visualization by a user of the wearable visualization device, and a cover coupled to the housing and configured to adjust between an extended configuration in which the cover extends over at least a portion of the one or more lenses and a retracted configuration in which the cover does not extend over at least the portion of the one or more lenses. The wearable visualization device also includes a controller and one or more sensors. The controller is configured to receive sensor data from the one or more sensors and to provide control signals to an actuator to adjust the cover between the extended configuration and the retracted configuration based on the sensor data.

摘要: The roller coaster with separable cars and multiple paths is a mechanical structure. The roller coaster with separable cars and multiple paths incorporates a plurality of trolleys, a track structure, and a control structure. The control structure controls the motion of the plurality of trolleys through the track structure. Each individual trolley selected from the plurality of trolleys travels along the track structure either as a train or as in individual trolley. Each individual trolley can both separate from the train and rejoin the train as the individual trolley travels through the track structure. The track structure is a multipath structure. The track structure forms a circuit. The track structure forms the path that guides each the plurality of trolleys through the circuit formed by the track structure. Each individual trolley can take an individual path selected from the multipath structure of the track structure.

摘要: The invention relates to a truss-type rail for an amusement ride, having two rail tubes which are directly trafficable by a roller coaster train; a non-trafficable truss chord tube; and vertical truss profiles, which reinforcingly connect the rail tubes and the truss chord tube and include vertically diagonal profiles alternatingly ascending and descending diagonally between the truss chord tubes and the rail tubes. According to the invention, in at least one connection region of the vertically diagonal profiles there are no additional vertical truss profiles connected to the truss chord tube.

摘要: A reaction controlled system of includes a track, a trolley that travels along the track, an animated figure coupled to the trolley, at least one reaction control element coupled to a portion of the animated figure (e.g., on the features, limbs, and/or body of the animated figure), and a controller. The controller detects presence of a ride vehicle or a guest. The controller also controls the trolley to position the animated figure based on the presence of the ride vehicle or the guest. The controller also controls animation of the animated figure by operating the reaction control element.
