The image processing portion includes a boundary-determining portion for determining a boundary of the neighboring images taken by the plurality of cameras for synthesizing the neighboring images in a horizontal direction by approximating the boundary to an exponential curve, a horizontally normalizing portion for normalizing the neighboring images in a horizontal direction so that the boundary approximated to the exponential curve is converted into a linear vertical boundary, a vertically compensating portion for compensating a vertical displacement between the neighboring images on the linear vertical boundary, and a pixel-adjusting portion for adjusting the number of pixels of the synthesized image to the number of pixels suitable for displaying the synthesized image produced by the image processing portion on the display apparatus.

    摘要: In a coating film transfer tool, a tape supply core rotation limiter predetermines the amount of coating film laid down on a receiving surface, to enable erasure of small areas. The permitted rotation of the supply core can be selected from a group of different choices by the use of an adjusting member, releasably engageable with the teeth of a toothed wheel rotatable with the supply core, and movable with the wheel when engaged therewith until engaged with a stop. A spring pawl, engageable with the teeth of the wheel, prevents reverse rotation of the supply core. The adjusting member can be disabled by holding it out of engagement with the toothed wheel, so that the instrument can be used as a conventional coating film transfer tool.

The controller predicts the speed at the time of closest approach when the separation between the preceding vehicle and the driven vehicle is the closest approach distance. A suitable vehicle separation is determined based on the predicted speed at the time of closest approach and a previously set length of time, and when the predicted closest approach distance is smaller than the suitable vehicle separation, a warning or braking force is generated.

A bearing hole extends widthwise through the main body of a transfer head, and an insertion member, provided at the end of the casing, is inserted into the bearing hole. In the assembly of the tool, the insertion member is inserted into the bearing hole of the transfer head, and, when the casing is united with its cover, an end of the insertion member is engaged with a part of the cover. The inside of the bearing hole of the transfer head comes into line contact with the insertion member, allowing the transfer head to turn smoothly relative to the casing about the contact location.

    摘要: A hydraulic braking system for a vehicle having a wheel includes a wheel brake cylinder operatively connected to the wheel for applying braking force to the wheel, and a master cylinder for generating hydraulic pressure in response to depression of a brake pedal and for supplying the hydraulic pressure to the wheel brake cylinder. The master cylinder is connected to the wheel brake cylinder via a first conduit. The wheel brake cylinder is connected to a reservoir for storing brake fluid via a second conduit. A normally closed solenoid valve is disposed in the second conduit. A hydraulic pressure pump is disposed in the first conduit and includes an inlet connected to the master cylinder and an outlet connected to the wheel brake cylinder. A third conduit connects the second conduit at a point between the normally closed solenoid valve and the reservoir to the first conduit at a point between the inlet of the hydraulic pressure pump and the master cylinder.

    摘要: A shock sensor capable of detecting a shock in a number of directions includes a reed switch, which is fixed inside a body and has a reed contact part which is magnetically changed from a first to a second state by way of a magnet, which is fixed inside the body at a specified distance from the reed switch. A shield member, having a sufficiently large area, prevents the magnet force of the magnet from affecting the reed contact part when the shield member is in its regular position. A resilient member, in a normal state, keeps the shield member at its regular position between the reed contact part and a magnet, at which the reed contact part is kept in the first state. When a shock is applied to the shock sensor, the resilient member allows the shield member to move to a position where the reed contact part changes over to the second state.In a second embodiment, the magnet is movably held in the main casing at a specified distance from the reed switch. In a normal state, the position of the magnet is such that a magnetism does not affect the reed contact part. When a shock is applied to the shock sensor, the magnet moves to a second position where the reed contact part is changed over to the second state.
