    摘要: The outer surface of a panel effective section of a vacuum envelope is substantially flattened. A phosphor screen is formed on the inner surface of the effective section and includes stripe-shaped phosphor layers and light absorption layers arranged in parallel. The panel effective section is formed such that a corner portion is 8 mm to 15 mm thicker than the central portion and the transmittance of the central portion is set at 40% to 60%. The phosphor screen is formed such that the ratio of the width of a light absorption layer to the pitch of phosphor layers in the central portion of the panel effective section is larger than or equal to that in the peripheral portion thereof. A shadow mask is opposed to the phosphor screen and has a mask body in which a number of electron beam passage apertures are formed. The pitch of apertures formed in the peripheral portion of the mask body is 1.3 to 1.4 times as large as that of apertures formed in the central portion thereof.

    摘要: A shadow mask of a color cathode-ray tube has a substantially rectangular mask main body and a substantially rectangular mask frame fixed to a skirt portion of the mask main body. The mask main body has a curved effective surface formed with a large number of electron-beam passage apertures and opposing the phosphor screen, a non-aperture portion surrounding the outer periphery of this effective surface, and a skirt portion formed in a bent on the outer periphery of the non-aperture portion. The mask main body has a long axis extending in a horizontal direction and crossing with a tube axis, and a short axis extending in a vertical direction and crossing with both the tube axis and the long axis. The effective surface and the non-aperture portion of the mask main body are formed in a curved surface having a radius of curvature in the short axis direction. At each long side of the mask main body, each end portion of the short axis of the effective surface and the non-aperture portion is recessed from any other adjacent part, in a direction leaving from the phosphor screen along the tube axis. The radius of curvature in a short axis direction near the short axis of the effective surface and the non-aperture portion of the mask main body is smaller than the radius of curvature in the short axis direction at other parts.

    摘要: A shadow mask has a mask body and a substantially rectangular mask frame attached to a peripheral portion of the mask body. The mask body has a substantially rectangular curved effective surface opposed to a phosphor screen formed on an inner surface of a panel. The effective surface has a number of electron beam passage apertures. The effective surface of the mask body has a curvature in a direction of the long axis, which is set within a range of about 0 to 2×10−4 (1/mm) over an area from a center of the effective surface to a middle portion of the effective surface in the direction of the long axis. A curvature at a peripheral portion in the direction of the long axis is set to be greater than that at the middle portion. A curvature on the short axis in the direction of the short axis successively increases over a distance equal to at least two thirds of a distance between the center and an effective end of the short axis.

    摘要: A cathode ray tube includes a panel having a substantially rectangular effective surface and a substantially rectangular skirt portion standing on the periphery of the effective surface, a shadow mask having a substantially rectangular mask body and a mask frame supporting the mask body and opposed to the skirt portion, and a holder provided between the skirt portion of the panel and the mask frame of the shadow mask and elastically suspending the mask frame to the panel. The holder comprises a first member having an engagement portion engaged with a stud pin attached on the skirt portion, and a second member having a fixing portion fixed to the mask frame. The plate-thickness of the first member is smaller than that of the second member, and the length of a first slanting portion of the first member is smaller than the length of a second slanting portion of the second member. With use of this holder, a color drift caused by an external impact undesirably applied to the cathode ray tube and a color drift caused by a thermal expansion of the mask frame during operation for a long time can simultaneously be corrected and an image of excellent quality can be displayed stably.

For this purpose, a double resonance NMR detector capable of exciting .sup.17 O and .sup.31 P at the same time is connected to an NMR spectrometer, and using a pulse train which permits observation of a .sup.31 P nuclear magnetic resonance signal obtained through polarization transfer between .sup.17 O and .sup.31 P, a .sup.31 P nuclear magnetic resonance signal from the .sup.17 O-labeled phosphoric acid is observed, and signals for .sup.17 O-unlabeled .sup.31 P are eliminated.
