Abstract:
A joining equipment in which a neural network is employed for controlling a joining process. A dynamic analog model is used for neuron elements configuring the network. The equipment includes a detector, a controller, and a neural network. The detector detects a joining state of a joining portion when work pieces are joined with each other. The controller controls the output of the joining equipment. In response to output signals from the detector, the neural network transmits signals to the controller. Such a structure allows the joining equipment to flexibly respond to complicated changes in joining states. Besides, using similarity with a thermal conduction equation enables to minimize the number of input items fed into the neural network. Furthermore, using an approximate solution to the thermal conduction equation realizes to accelerate the time for numerical calculation without loss of accuracy.
Abstract:
In a state in which a chronograph mechanism is not operated, a coupling lever 442 positions a second counting transmission pinion 212b such that the second counting transmission pinion 212b is separated from a second chronograph wheel 214. In a state in which the chronograph mechanism is operated, the coupling lever 442 is moved to rotate such that the chronograph mechanism is operated. As a result, the second counting transmission pinion 212b is in mesh with the second counting wheel 214. By bringing an outer peripheral portion 442f of a guide frame 442d into contact with a contact portion 202d of a chronograph bridge 202, movement of the coupling lever 442 is set.

The developer cartridge comprises a cylindrical body whose rotational axis extends in a direction perpendicular to a developer carrying direction of the developing unit; a first developer storage room, provided at the cylindrical body, for storing an unused developer; an opening formed in the first developer storage room; a case having a cylinder for rotatably retaining the cylindrical body, the cylinder having an injection port provided in association with the opening of the first developer storage room; a second developer storage room, provided at a lower portion of the cylinder of the case, for storing a used developer from the developing unit; and setting means selectively movable to a first position indicating an unused state of the developer cartridge and a second position indicating a used state of the developer cartridge to detect if the developer cartridge is unused or used. The image forming apparatus comprising an endless latent carrier; means for forming an electrostatic latent image on the endless latent carrier; developing means for developing the electrostatic latent image on the endless latent carrier; a developer cartridge detachably attached to the developing means for exchanging developers, and having the same components as the above-described cartridge; drive means for driving the cylindrical body of the developer cartridge for developer exchange; detecting means for detecting the setting means of the developer cartridge to detect if the developer cartridge is unused or used; and a control circuit for controlling the drive means in accordance with a detection result from the detecting means.
Abstract:
A train wheel of an electronic timepiece having more than two motors which drive hand wheels through individual train wheels includes a guide pipe driven and fixed in a bottom plate in the timepiece. The first hand wheel driven by the rotor of the first motor through the first train wheel has a central shaft as its rotational axis. The central shaft of the first hand wheel is inserted into the guide pipe so as to be guided and supported by the inner surface of the guide pipe. The second hand wheel has a central pipe as its rotational axis. The central pipe of the second hand wheel has the guide pipe inserted therein so as to be guided and supported by the outer surface of the guide pipe. Whereby the hand wheels do not come into contact with each other with result that the drive force of one of the hand wheels is not transmitted to the other hand wheel.
Abstract:
A disc brake has a structure for supporting the friction pads in which a caliper body including a bridge section extending over a disc and first and second arm sections is provided with a pad spring for resiliently holding the upper portions of the friction pads to come in pressure contact with the sliding plane of the disc. The friction pads are provided at the upper parts of the backing plates thereof with recesses or projections, and the pad spring is constructed from a holder and a bent extension located at its center. The holder is resiliently caused to engage fixedly with the inner side walls or the inner upper walls of the bridge section, and the bent extension is kept in contact with at least the side wall of the recesses or projections positioned on the side out of which the disc rotates, whereby the friction pads are held under pressures against the torque-receiving portion of a bracket located on the side out of which the disc rotates, and are forced in the direction of the rotating shaft of the disc.
Abstract:
To obtain a drive unit integrated rotating electrical machine that makes it easier to connect power circuits and achieves not only excellent vibration resistance but also excellent heat releasing properties.Means for SolutionA drive unit integrated rotating electrical machine has a motor, a drive unit driving the motor under control and provided with power switching elements and conductors passing a current to the power switching elements, and a heat sink cooling the drive unit, which are combined into one unit. The drive unit integrated rotating electrical machine is characterized in that: the power switching elements are molded and formed into mold modules in a state in which terminals thereof are exposed; the conductors are insert-molded in a frame in a state in which terminals thereof are exposed; and the exposed terminals of the mold modules are connected to the exposed terminals of the insert-molded conductors and the mold modules are firmly fixed to the heat sink.
Abstract:
The present invention aims to provide a watch with a calendar mechanism which allows a reduction in the thickness of a date feeding mechanism and a month feeding mechanism. In a watch with a calendar mechanism according to the present invention, a date indicator includes a month end tooth for driving a month feeding lever at the end of a month and feeding the date indicator at the end of a shorter month. A month indicator includes a month cam for operating a shorter month end feeding lever at the end of a shorter month. The shorter month end feeding lever can feed the date indicator by one day based on the rotation of a date indicator driving wheel and the rotation of the month cam. The month feeding lever moves toward the month indicator at the end of a month based on the rotation of the date indicator, and can feed the month indicator by one month.
