    摘要: A temperature compensation circuit which includes a signal detecting circuit provided on a signal supply path which outputs logic signals to a target circuit. Also included are switch elements which turn current on/off to heater elements each time the signal detecting circuit detects that the logic signals are being applied to the target circuit. The power source of the invention therefore only needs to endure the same amount of current applied to the target circuit which leads to a reduction in power consumption.

    摘要: A phase comparator has a first comparing circuit and a second comparing circuit. The first comparing circuit produces a first output pulse having a duration equal to a phase lead of a first input signal with respect to a phase of a second input signal. The first phase comparator also produces a second output pulse equal in duration to a phase lag of the first input signal with respect to the phase of the second input signal. The second comparing circuit produces a third pulse equal in duration to a phase lead of a third input signal with respect to a phase of a fourth input signal. The second comparator also produces a fourth output pulse equal in duration to a phase lag of the third input signal with respect to the phase of the fourth input signal. The phase comparator further includes a first combining circuit for combining the first output pulse with the third output pulse, a second combining circuit for combining the second output pulse with the fourth output pulse, and a first delay circuit for relatively delaying the first input signal with respect to the third input signal. Optionally, a second delay circuit delays the fourth input signal relative to the second input signal.

The planetary gear mechanism is rotated at a low speed so that the output of the first planetary gear mechanism does not exert an influence upon the second planetary gear mechanism when the driving force of the motor is switched from the zooming device to the photographic image-plane size switching device.

    摘要: A magnetooptical recording method for recording data using a bit having upward-magnetization and a bit having downward-magnetization on a recording layer of a magnetooptical recording medium comprises the steps of using, as the medium, a multilayered magnetic recording medium consisting of a first layer having a perpendicular magnetic anisotropy acting as a recording layer, and a second layer having a perpendicular magnetic anisotropy acting as a reference layer; moving the medium; applying an initial field so that, before recording, the direction of magnetization of the recording layer is left unchanged, and that of the reference layer is aligned either upward or downward; radiating a laser beam onto the medium; pulse modulating an intensity of the laser beam in accordance with binary data to be recorded; when the laser beam is radiated, applying a bias field to the irradiated portion; and when the intensity of the pulse-modulated laser beam is at high level, forming one of the bit having upward-magnetization and that having downward-magnetization, and when the intensity of the pulse-modulated laser beam is at low level, forming the other bit.

    摘要: A timing generator for generating delay timing signals which have delay time up to n-times of a reference clock period is capable of considerably reducing the hardware size. The timing generator is used in a semiconductor testing apparatus. The timing generator can contribute to reduce the total size and cost of the semiconductor testing apparatus. The timing generator includes a counter for counting the reference clock, an adder for adding the output of the counter to delay data, a series of registers for storing the output of the adder and shifting the output of the adder in synchronism with a delay trigger signal, a series of exclusive OR gates for comparing each output of the registers with the output of the counter and generating coincidence signals when the output from the register and the counter coincide with each other, and an OR gate for receiving the outputs of the exclusive OR gates and generating a signal which is combined of the outputs from the exclusive OR gates.

    摘要: An overwrite capable magnetooptical recording apparatus comprises a moving magnetooptical recording medium to which is applied an initial magnetic field and a laser beam which irradiates the moving medium. The beam intensity is modulated, in accordance with binary data to be recorded, between a high beam intensity level that provides the medium with a first temperature suitable for forming one of a first bit having upward-magnetization and a second bit having downward-magnetization, and a low beam intensity level that provides the medium with a second temperature suitable for forming the other bit. A bias magnetic field is applied to a portion of the medium irradiated by the beam.
