    Abstract: A method of beam failure recovery for a serving cell is disclosed. In response to a beam failure on a first bandwidth part in a serving cell, a first device detects a first candidate beam associated with the first bandwidth part (310). In response to a failure of detecting the first candidate beam, the first device switches from the first bandwidth part to a second bandwidth part in the serving cell. The second bandwidth part is configured with at least one reference signal identifying a second candidate beam for recovery from the beam failure (320). The first device detects the second candidate beam based on the at least one reference signal (330). In response to a success of detecting the second candidate beam, the first device transmits information concerning the second candidate beam to a second device for the recovery from the beam failure (340).

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to for skipping monitoring of downlink control channel in random access. A first device receives from a second device a command indicating the first device to skip monitoring a downlink control channel between the second device and the first device for a time period. In response to the random access procedure being triggered by a first trigger condition, the first device determines whether the time period overlaps with a time window associated with a random access procedure. The first device ignores or performs the command based on the determination.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to handling physical downlink control channel skipping and wake up signaling. According to example embodiments of the present disclosure, there is provided a solution for handling WUS occasions and the PDCCH skipping. In this solution, the device may determine whether to skip monitoring the PDCCH and determine whether to skip monitoring the WUS based on the type of PDCCH. The device may also determine when to transmit the WUS based on the type of the PDCCH. In this way, the WUS and the PDCCH skipping can be configured simultaneously and the power can be further saved.

    Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to logical channel prioritization. A method includes obtaining an uplink grant from a network device, the uplink grant indicating uplink resources for transmission to the network device and selecting a logical channel prioritization setting from a plurality of logical channel prioritization settings based on a predetermined policy related to the uplink grant, the logical channel prioritization settings defining different sets of prioritization parameters for uplink data in at least one logical channel and uplink control information in occupying the uplink resources. The method further includes generating, based on the logical channel prioritization setting, a packet data unit including at least one of the uplink control information or at least one part of the uplink data for transmission to the network device using the uplink resources. In this way, adaptive and dynamic prioritization across logical channels can be achieved at the terminal device.

According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the terminal devices transmit random access requests in random access channels and the network device transmits the response to the random access requests on the downlink control channel addressed to the common identifier. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, there is one to multiple mapping for contention resolution radio network temporary identifier (CR-RNTI) and physical RACH (PRACH). In this way, the number of RNTIs is decreased and the overhead is reduced.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a delay status report (DSR). In an aspect, a terminal device determines a criterion for one or more data units. The one or more data units are buffered and not submitted to a lower layer in a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP). Moreover, the terminal device triggers, based on said criterion, a DSR comprising a data volume of the one or more data units and a remaining time associated with the one or more data units. In this way, it is possible to improve the DSR reporting with enhanced efficiency.
