Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling from a network entity indicating one or more parameters for a wakeup signal (WUS) associated with a sensing reference signal. The UE may monitor for the WUS during one or more sensing WUS (S-WUS) monitoring occasions. The network entity may transmit the WUS based on the one or more parameters to the UE, where the UE is operating in an idle mode. The UE may communicate the sensing reference signal based on the WUS. The S-WUS may be configured as a separate signal from a standard WUS used for data communications, or a portion of a field of a WUS used for data communications may be used to indicate sensing information. For example, the S-WUS may use unused or additional bits of the WUS.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a device (e.g., a user equipment (UE)) may obtain a configuration message indicating one or more neural network models from abase station. The UE may then obtain an indication of a sequence of operations for a signal processing procedure for a neural network model of the one or more neural network models. In some examples, the signal processing procedure includes an input pre-processing procedure or an output pre-processing procedure. Upon obtaining a signal from a base station, the UE may perform the signal processing procedure on the received signal for the neural network model according to the sequence of operations.

A device may perform rate splitting on a first message for a first user equipment (UE) and a second message for a second UE, the first message comprising a first private portion and a first common portion, and the second message comprising a second private portion and a second common portion. The device may combine the first common portion and the second common portion into a third common portion. The device may generate cyclic redundancy check (CRC) parity bits associated with at least one of the first private portion and the third common portion and attach the generated CRC parity bits to one or more blocks associated with the transmission. The device may transmit the first private portion and the third common portion to the first UE, and the second private portion and the third common portion to the second UE.

A first user equipment (UE) may receive a control message that includes an indication to mute communications between the first UE and a second UE. The indication may be applicable to at least one communication link between the first UE and the second UE. The indication may include an identifier of the first UE, an identifier of the second UE, or an identifier of the at least one communication link. The first UE may receive the indication based on a power status of the first UE, a power status of the second UE, a reliability metric associated with the at least one communication link, or an interference metric associated with a network entity. The UE may identify, based at least in part on an overlap between a bandwidth part associated with the communications and a first subband of the SBFD slot, a starting resource block within the first subband of the SBFD slot of at least one resource block set associated with the FDRA, wherein the first subband of the SBFD slot has a different bandwidth than the bandwidth part. The UE may perform the communications during the SBFD slot in the first subband using the at least one resource block set.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource configuration, the SRS resource configuration indicating at least a comb pattern for at least one SRS resource allocated to the UE and a puncturing unit for the comb pattern, wherein the comb pattern is divided into one or more puncturing units, wherein each puncturing unit comprises one or more time units of the comb pattern, and wherein each of the one or more time units comprises two or more symbols, and refrains from transmitting all SRS transmissions of the at least one SRS resource within a first puncturing unit of the one or more puncturing units based on a determination that one or more SRS transmissions of the at least one SRS resource within the first puncturing unit are to be dropped.

Abstract: Positioning of one or more user equipments (UEs) is performed using broadcast common sounding reference signals (SRS) resources for positioning. The common SRS that is broadcast by a UE is received and measured by one or more base stations and one or more other UEs. The other UEs may have known positions and may server as anchor nodes for positioning. The other UEs may have known positions and may serve as a positioning (anchor) node or may have unknown positions and may be jointly positioned with the target UE. During joint positioning, each of the other UEs may similarly broadcast a common set of SRS that is received and measured by the base stations and other UEs for positioning. An angular measurement of the SRS broadcast by one or more UEs may be measured and used to resolve mirror symmetry in positioning solutions.

Abstract: Wireless communications network architecture options for cooperative sensing and positioning. A sensing management function (SnMF) may be deployed as a network entity within the core network that supports, manages, analyzes, etc., the sensing output(s) of nodes of a wireless network. The SnMF may obtain radio frequency (RF) signal metrics from wireless nodes of a radio access network (RAN), such as base station(s), user equipment (UE), vehicle-based UE(s), wireless nodes deployed within a factory setting, and the like. The RF signal metrics may correspond to, or otherwise be associated with, reflections of RF signal transmissions off of objects. The SnMF may process the RF signal metrics to identify or otherwise determine the various properties of the objects. An application layer entity, such as an application function (AF), may also be implemented within the core network that issues sensing queries and receives reports about the sensing procedures from the SnMF.

Abstract: In an aspect, a network component (e.g., BS, server, etc.) obtains measurement information associated with uplink signal(s) from UE(s), with the uplink signal(s) having reciprocity with one or more downlink beams of wireless node(s) (e.g., TRP, reference UE, etc.). The network component determines (e.g., generates or refines) a measurement (e.g., RFFP-P) model based on the measurement information. The network component provides the measurement (e.g., RFFP-P) model to a target UE. The target UE receives at least one signal (e.g., PRS) on the one or more downlink beams from the wireless node(s). The target UE processes the at least one signal (e.g., predicts target UE location) based at least in part on the measurement (e.g., RFFP-P) model.
