Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for enhanced bandwidth negotiation. Some implementations more specifically relate to request-to-transmit (RTS) and clear-to-send (CTS) frame designs that support bandwidth negotiations over a range of bandwidths achievable in accordance with the IEEE 802.11be amendment, and future generations, of the IEEE 802.11 standard. In some implementations, a bandwidth negotiation frame (such as a CTS or RTS frame) may be configurable to support bandwidths greater than 160 MHz. In some aspects, the bandwidth negotiation frame may conform to a legacy control frame format. More specifically, one or more bits of a service field associated with the legacy control frame format may be repurposed to carry enhanced bandwidth information. In some aspects, a recipient of a bandwidth negotiation frame may interpret one or more bits of the service field to carry enhanced bandwidth information when the frame is transmitted by a non-legacy transmitting device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first device may receive signaling associated with a traffic class from a second device. The first device may determine that the traffic class is included in a set of known traffic classes based on a set of features associated with the signaling. In response to determining that the traffic class is included in the set of known traffic classes, the first device may use a machine learning model to obtain a prediction of an application associated with the signaling. The prediction may be based on the set of features. The machine learning model may be trained at the first device or the second device. The first device may receive information associated with the machine learning model from the second device.

Abstract: Techniques related to wireless communication are disclosed. Some aspects of the disclosure relate to devices and methods for improving a quality of service (QoS) by reporting near-real-time feedback relating to a delay experienced by packets queued for transmission, and dynamically scheduling a wireless station to transmit and meet its QoS. A wireless station (STA) obtains one or more packets for transmission, the packets being associated with a delay condition. The STA outputs for transmission a delay status report that includes information relating to the delay condition associated with the one or more packets. In response, the STA obtains a resource allocation for transmission of the one or more packets according to the information relating to the delay condition. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device (e.g., station (STA), access point (AP)) may transmit to a second wireless device during a service period, an initiating frame using a transmit beam that is based on a first beam training procedure performed between the devices prior to the service period. The first wireless device may perform a second beam training procedure during the service period based on an absence of a response frame from the second wireless device, based on an indication within the response frame received from the second wireless device, or based on identification of a change in a wireless channel relative to a previous beam training interval or previous service period. The first wireless device may then communicate one or more messages with the second wireless device using one or more beams that are based on the second beam training procedure.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems that facilitate mobility of wireless communication devices configured for multi-link operation (MLO). Particular aspects more specifically relate to facilitating fast basic service set (BSS) transitions by wireless communication devices that support MLO. For example, some aspects provide support for station (STA) multi-link device (MLD) roaming between access point (AP) MLDs, from an AP MLD to a non-MLO AP, or from a non-MLO AP to an AP MLD. In some aspects, a STA MLD may be configured to use a medium access control (MAC) service access point address (MAC-SAP address) of the AP MLD when re-associating or communicating with a legacy AP or with an AP MLD. Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for protecting latency-sensitive communications, during restricted target wake time (r-TWT) service periods (SPs), from non-legacy STAs that do not support r-TWT operation. Some implementations more specifically relate to preventing STAs that are not members of an r-TWT SP from acquiring transmit opportunities (TXOPs) that would otherwise overlap with the start of the r-TWT SP. In some implementations, the AP may require all non-legacy STAs associated with its basic service set (BSS) to support r-TWT operation. In some other implementations, the AP may attempt to capture a wireless channel associated with the r-TWT SP within a fixed period preceding the r-TWT SP. In some other implementations, the AP may require all associated STAs to transmit a request-to-send (RTS) frame when attempting to acquire a TXOP. Still further, in some implementations, the AP may limit the duration of TXOPs acquired by non-member STAs.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for communicating over multiple links, for example, indicating buffered units (BUs) per traffic identifier (TID) for transmission to multi-link devices (MLDs). The non-AP MLD can receive an indication of an association identifier (AID) associated with the non-AP MLD, wherein the indication of the AID indicates whether an AP has BUs for the non-AP MLD, determine one or more links associated with one or more TIDs based on a mapping of a plurality of TIDs, including the one or more TIDs, to a plurality of links, including the one or more links, receive the BUs associated with the one or more TIDs from the AP on the determined links.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for associating a wireless communication device such as a wireless station (STA) of a STA multi-link device (MLD) with an access point (AP) MLD that includes a first AP associated with a first communication link of the AP MLD and includes one or more secondary APs associated with one or more respective secondary communication links of the first AP MLD. The first AP includes one or more virtual APs, and the first AP and the one or more virtual APs of the first AP belong to a first multiple basic service set identifier (BSSID) set associated with the first communication link. The AP MLD transmits a frame including a first element carrying discovery information for the first AP and the one or more virtual APs belonging to the first multiple BSSID set, and including a second element carrying discovery information for the one or more secondary APs of the first AP MLD associated with the one or more respective secondary communication links of the first AP MLD.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for wireless communications are described. Stations operating within a system may have a primary radio and a wakeup or low-power radio. Access points (APs) may send indications receivable by the wakeup radio to alert a station of a pending data transmission for the station. APs may transmit synchronization beacons for wakeup radios of the stations, and the transmission timing for the synchronization beacons may be adapted based on operating conditions of one or more stations. For example, an AP may skip transmissions of a synchronization beacon or may adapt the frequency of synchronization beacon transmissions based on various operating conditions or factors. Stations may report certain information about operating conditions or capabilities that may be used to adapt synchronization beacon transmissions.
