    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for sidelink configured grant skipping are described. In some examples, a first user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, an indication of periodic data resources for a plurality of sidelink data transmissions and an indication of negative scheduling request resources for the first UE to report a skipped sidelink data transmission associated with the plurality of sidelink data transmissions. In some examples, the first UE may transmit, to a second UE, an indication of the skipped sidelink data transmission and may transmit, to a base station, a negative scheduling request using the negative scheduling request resources, where the negative scheduling request may report the skipped data transmissions associated with the plurality of sidelink data transmissions.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Aspects of the present disclosure provide a user equipment (UE) with a capability to identify an enhanced sidelink resource pool including resources that are otherwise excluded from configured sidelink resource pools. In some examples, the UE may identify the enhanced sidelink resource pool based on sidelink parameters for transmitting one or more sidelink messages, and the UE may use the enhanced sidelink resource pool for additional sidelink transmissions. The additional sidelink transmissions may include standalone sidelink control information (SCI) transmissions or other types of transmissions associated with sidelink communications. The resources associated with the enhanced sidelink resource pool may have a relatively finer granularity than those included within a base sidelink resource pool that is, for example, configured by a network.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may transmit a first sidelink control information (SCI) message associated with a sidelink transmission from the first UE, the first SCI message including a first indication of a set of resources reserved for retransmissions of the sidelink transmission at one or more retransmission occasions. The first UE may identify a second SCI message associated with the first SCI message, the second SCI message including one or more time domain resource allocation (TDRA) field values indicative of at least a first subset of the set of resources and a release of the at least first subset of the set of resources reserved for the retransmissions of the sidelink transmission, the release pertaining to at least one retransmission occasion of the one or more retransmission occasions. The first UE may then transmit fewer retransmissions of the sidelink transmission in accordance with the release.
