Abstract: A device for a computing system is disclosed. The device includes a body, a socket, and a connector. The body includes a panel and an internal conduit. The connector extends from the panel. The connector is removably coupled to the socket. The connector includes an outer end and an inner end. The connector also includes a nut that has an exterior surface mating with a corresponding interior surface of the socket, and a tubular inlet. The connector also has a sleeve with an internal bore and an external surface abutting the tubular inlet of the nut. The internal conduit is coupled to the inner end of the connector to circulate cooling liquid through the body. The nut includes an angled portion and the sleeve includes a flared portion for assisting in securing the nut and the sleeve in the internal conduit.

Abstract: A method and system controls cooling system leaks in a rack. The method includes monitoring leak detection sensors positioned at computer systems and below sections of a liquid conveyance system. In response to determining if a signal was received from one of the leak detection sensors that is indicative of a leak, the leak detection sensor and the corresponding one of the plurality of computer systems associated the received signal is determined. Power is disconnected to the corresponding one of the computer systems and a signal is transmitted to implement moving first and second valves from open to closed positions. The first valve is positioned within the liquid conveyance system between a hot rack manifold and a thermal contact structure associated with the computer system associated with the received signal. The second valve is positioned within the liquid conveyance system between a cool rack manifold and the thermal contact structure.

Abstract: A connector consisting of a body, a first slot, a second slot, a first terminal, and a second terminal is disclosed. The first slot is provided on the body to receive a first printed circuit board (PCB). The second slot is provided on the body to receive a second PCB. The first slot and the second slot are separate and distinct slots. When the first PCB and the second PCB are received in the first slot and the second slot, respectively, the first terminal electrically connects the first PCB and the second PCB, and the second terminal connects to only the second PCB. Providing the first slot on the connector allows adding expansion cards, control cards, and the like to enhance functionality of computing systems.

Abstract: A tiered immersion cooling system includes a chassis, a cabinet frame slidably mounted to the chassis, an upper immersion tank, and a lower immersion tank. The cabinet frame is slidable between a first internal position and a first external position. Sliding motion of the cabinet frame is in a horizontal direction along a depth of the chassis. The upper immersion tank is slidably mounted to the chassis. The upper immersion tank is slidable with the cabinet frame in the horizontal direction. The upper immersion tank slides relative to the cabinet frame, in a vertical direction along a height of the chassis. The lower immersion tank is positioned below the upper immersion tank in the vertical direction. The lower immersion tank is mounted to slide independently from the cabinet frame, in the horizontal direction. The lower immersion tank slides between a second internal and a second external position.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure are directed to a transportation system for carrying servers. The transportation system includes a server rack and a shock-absorbing pallet. The shock-absorbing pallet is secured under the server rack and configured to move relative to the server rack to dampen vibration during transportation of the server rack. The shock-absorbing pallet includes a top cover, a bottom cover, one or more isolation devices, and one or supporting layers. Abstract: A coolant distribution unit providing reliant circulation of coolant in a liquid cooling system for a heat-generating component such as a computer server is disclosed. The coolant distribution unit includes a manifold unit having a supply connector to supply coolant to the heat-generating component and a collection connector to collect coolant from a heat exchanger. A first pump has an inlet coupled to the manifold unit and an outlet coupled to the manifold unit. The first pump circulates coolant from the inlet to the outlet. A second pump has an inlet coupled to the manifold unit and an outlet coupled to the manifold. The second pump circulates coolant from the inlet to the outlet. The second pump may be disconnected from the manifold unit, while the first pump continues to circulate coolant through the manifold unit.

Abstract: A connector assembly for connecting an upper circuit board to a lower circuit board is disclosed. The upper circuit board includes a series of fastener holes for a fastening device allowing attachment to the lower circuit board. The connector assembly has a support bracket with access holes aligned with the holes of the upper circuit board. The support bracket is configurable to be positioned over the upper circuit board. The connector assembly has a moveable cover bracket having a series of access holes. The cover bracket is suspended between the support bracket and the cover bracket. The cover bracket is moveable between an open position aligning the access holes with the access holes of the support bracket, and a closed position. In the closed position, the cover bracket blocks access between the access holes of the support bracket and the holes of the upper circuit board.

The inclined surface can be slidably connected to one of the at least two securing elements. Each slider can be arranged to move in response to an applied force. The ground surface is configured to slidably connect to an inner wall of a box.

Abstract: A locking mechanism for securing different expansion cards in a slot of a chassis of a computing device is disclosed. The locking mechanism includes a base and a main body. The base is coupled to the chassis and movable between an open position and a closed position. The main body is coupled to the base and movable between a first orientation and a second orientation. When the base is in the closed position and the main body is in the first orientation, a first mating feature of the main body engages an expansion card having a first form factor inserted into the slot. When the base is in the closed position and the main body is in the second orientation, the second mating feature engages an expansion card having a second form factor inserted into the slot of the chassis.
