    摘要: This method for locating at least one touch on a touch-sensitive surface of an object comprises the following steps: monitoring (100) of at least one touch by propagating (102), in the touch-sensitive surface of the object, elastic mechanical waves from at least one transmitting point of the object, and by detecting (104) said elastic mechanical waves in at least one reception point of the object, in order to obtain at least one sensed signal, and locating (200) at least one touch on the touch-sensitive surface of the object by comparing certain spectral characteristics of the sensed signal to a set of reference characteristics. The monitoring step (100) comprises measuring (104, 106) the sensed signal during a time interval (t3 ) starting during a transient phase of the propagation of the transmitted waves, for supplying, to said at least one reception point, information on radiation interfered with by said at least one touch.

    摘要: A method and a system for radio network environment detection and reporting in a network handover and a media independent handover (MIH) apparatus are provided. The method includes the following: an MIH function (MIHF) at a terminal side initiates a network scan, and generates a parameter report on a radio network environment around the terminal including dynamic information and static information of a scanned point of access (PoA) after the scan is completed; the MIHF at the terminal side sends the parameter report on the radio network environment to an upper layer at the terminal side or to an MIHF at a network side. The method and system support homogeneous and heterogeneous network environments at the same time.

    摘要: A method for performing a signal integrity analysis on an integrated circuit (IC) that includes a plurality of scatterers by dividing the scatterers into subgroups using a nested Huygens' equivalence principle algorithm and solving a set of equations realized thereby with a reduced coupling matrix. The method includes decomposing the IC design into a plurality of small non-overlapping circuit sub-domains, wherein each of the sub-domains is formed as a small, enclosed region. Each sub-domain is analyzed independently of the other sub-domains using only electric fields to represent the interactions of each sub-domains with the other sub-domains as equivalent currents on equivalent surfaces of the plurality of sub-domains. Neighboring equivalent sub-domains are grouped together to form larger sub-domains using equivalent currents on equivalent surfaces to represent the interactions of the sub-domains. The steps of analyzing and grouping the sub-domains are repeated until the grouping approaches a box comprising the entire domain, and that the domain interactions between every sub-domain have been analyzed.

    摘要: Embodiment of present invention provide an optical interconnect apparatus. The apparatus includes an optical signal path; a first set of fibers attached to a first end of the optical signal path via a first wavelength-division-multiplexing (WDM) filter; and a second set of fibers attached to a second end of the optical signal path via a second WDM filter, wherein at least the first set of fibers is a ribbon fiber. Embodiment of present invention further provide an interconnected optical system that includes a first optical transport terminal having a first set of optical signal ports and a second optical transport terminal having a second set of optical signal ports, with the two sets of optical signal ports being interconnected by the optical interconnect apparatus.
