摘要: An image signal correction device, provided in an electronic still camera, comprises a CPU, an image signal processing circuit, a gamma look-up table and a display in which a recognition information storing unit is provided. A clock pulse, outputted from the CPU, is received by the recognition information storing unit, so that a recognition pulse, corresponding to the gamma characteristics of the display, is outputted from the recognition information storing unit to the CPU, enabling gamma look-up data to be inputted to the gamma look-up table. The image signal, outputted from the image signal processing circuit, is subjected to a gamma correction in the gamma look-up table, and outputted to the display.

摘要: An injection blow molding system includes an injection molding station (22), a first delivery section (24), a cooling station (26), a heating station (30), a second delivery section (32) and a plurality of blow molding stations (34). The station (22) simultaneously injection molds M rows of N preforms (36) arranged in a second direction (B) perpendicular to a first direction (A) in which the preforms (36) are carried. The first delivery section (24) removes the M rows of preforms (36) using a removing mechanism (102) in their upright state while decreasing the pitch in the rows. The preforms 36 are inverted with the column pitch changed by an inverting mechanism (104) before delivery to the cooling station in their inverted state. The cooling and heating stations (26), (30) cool and heat one row of N preforms (36) while parallel carrying them along a first carrying chain (200). The second delivery section (32) delivers the preforms (36) to two blow molding stations while in their inverted state. Each blow molding station (34) stretch blow molds the N/2 preforms into containers at the same time.

摘要: A data recording/reproducing apparatus comprises a data recording/reproducing component for recording data including audio and/or video data in and reproducing such data from a plurality of non-linearly accessible recording medium, a plurality of input/output processing sections for processing the input data and outputting them to the recording/reproducing component, while processing the data output from the recording/reproducing component and outputting them, a controller for controlling the input/output processing sections so as to make them carry out the processing operations in the allocated respective time slots and outputting time slot signals with a fixed cycle period to the respective input/output processing sections, the controller being so adapted that, when there is an idle input/output processing section out of the plurality of input/output processing sections, it outputs the time slot signals to be output to the idle input/output processing section to the remaining input/output processing section. With such an arrangement, more time slots are allocated to the busy input/output processing sections, which can therefore output an increased number of data sheets per unit time for a high speed data reproducing operation to improve the operability of the apparatus.

摘要: An electro-developing recording medium has a reference zone exhibiting a substantially-constant transparency to prepare correction data for correcting image pixel signals obtained by an optical and electronic reading of a developed image of the electro-developing recording medium. The reference zone is located at a margin area of an image recording area of the electro-developing recording medium. Further, the reference zone is located adjacent to a side edge of the image recording area of the electro-developing recording medium. The electro-developing recording medium includes an electrostatic information recording medium and an electric charge keeping medium. The electric charge keeping medium has the reference zone exhibiting the substantially-constant transparency. The electric charge keeping medium is formed as a liquid crystal display, and the reference zone can be defined as an empty space from which a portion of a liquid crystal of the liquid crystal display has been eliminated. In the alternative, the reference zone can be defined as a plenum space which is filled with a portion of a liquid crystal of the liquid crystal display, and which is arranged such that an electric field is applied to the plenum space so as to exhibit a constant and maximum transparency.

摘要: An image-pixel signal processor is used to process image-pixel signals obtained from an image-sensing area, divided into a first section and a second section, of a solid-type image sensor. The processor has an image-pixel signal reader, which simultaneously and correspondingly reads two respective series of image-pixel signals line by line from the sections. A leading signal of the image-pixel signals, included in each line, is farthest away from a boundary between the sections, and a trailing signal of the image-pixel signals, included in each line, is nearest to the boundary. The processor has a regulator, which correspondingly regulates differences in level between the signals in each line derived from the first section, and the corresponding signals in each line derived from the second section, so that a gradual reduction occurs, resulting in both levels of the trailing signals, derived from the sections, being substantially coincident with each other.

摘要: A liquid crystal device is constituted by a pair of electrode plates and a liquid crystal composition disposed between the electrode plates. At least one of the electrode plates comprises a light-transmissive substrate, a plurality of electrodes including principal electrodes and auxiliary electrodes supported on the light-transmissive substrate, and an insulating layer. Each auxiliary electrode is disposed between an associated principal electrode and the light-transmissive substrate so as to be electrically connected with at least a part of the associated principal electrode, and the auxiliary electrodes being disposed with spacings therebetween which are filled with the insulating layer. The liquid crystal composition comprises at least one species of a fluorine-containing mesomorphic compound comprising a fluorocarbon terminal portion and a hydrocarbon terminal portion, the terminal portions being connected with a central core, and having smectic mesophase or latent smectic mesophase. The combination of the above specific cell structure and the specific liquid crystal composition is effective in improving display quality (e.g., contrast) while minimizing a voltage waveform deformation.
