摘要: The present invention provides a display device of high brightness which can eliminate brightness irregularities on a display surface while preventing the degradation of display quality attributed to an undesired electric field generated at the time of performing inverter driving of the cold cathode fluorescent lamps of a backlight. In a liquid crystal display device, a plurality of cold cathode fluorescent lamps of a backlight unit is arranged along a short axis of the display device. The cold cathode fluorescent lamp has a high-voltage electrode thereof connected to an inverter circuit and a ground electrode thereof connected to a ground. Further, the plurality of cold cathode fluorescent lamps arranged along the short axis have electrodes thereof arranged alternately between the high-voltage electrode and the ground electrode.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a display device in which input data is written to a RAM as current frame data and read from the RAM as preceding frame data. Then, the current frame data and the preceding frame data are added up in a correction circuit and the result is subjected to an overdriving processing. After this, the processed (over-driven) data is assumed as current frame corrected data, which is then written to the RAM. The written corrected data is read from the RAM and subjected to a double-speed driving processing.

摘要: A video distribution system is provided that is capable of distributing the same advertisement both to an originating user terminal and to a destination user terminal. Upon receipt of http request, WWW server transmits a call processing and video distribution request to a coordination server. At this time, the telephone numbers of the originating user terminal and the destination user terminal, and video to be distributed are specified by the call processing and video distribution request. Upon receipt of the call processing and video distribution request, coordination server performs originating call control and sets up a video distribution using a call processing protocol such as SIP. This results in setting up a telephone conversation between the originating user terminal and the destination user terminal, and setting video distribution to and receipt by destination user terminal. Coordination server then transmits an originating-side video distribution request to the video distribution server. Upon receipt of the originating-side video distribution request, the video distribution server performs video distribution to the originating user terminal.

摘要: An electromagnetic wave absorber comprises an electromagnetic wave absorber molded element, plate-shaped sintered ferrite, and a metal plate. The molded element incorporates a tile-shaped base portion and a wedge-shaped apex portion disposed on the base portion. The molded element is formed by injecting slurry into a mold, the slurry being obtained through mixing a molding material for the wave absorber with water, and curing the slurry. The molding material includes a magnetic material, an inorganic fiber and an inorganic binder. When these ingredients are mixed with water, the molding material first exhibits fluidity and then a curing reaction in a temperature range of 1 to 40° C.
