The method comprises receiving a Dynamic Service Addition (DSA) message through a primary carrier, from a Base Station (BS); switching from the primary carrier to a secondary carrier based on the DSA message; receiving an MBS Configuration message through the secondary carrier, from the BS; and receiving MBS data through the secondary carrier based on the MBS Configuration message, from the BS.

The method includes transmitting a handover request message to the service BS, and receiving a handover command message from the service BS in response to the handover request message. Multi-carriers are assigned to a terminal in advance right before a handover, and all or some of the multi-carriers are activated right after the handover. Therefore, multi-carrier are effectively utilized.

摘要： There is provided a method for handover of a terminal in a wireless access system using multi-carrier operation. The method comprises: receiving a handover command message from a serving base station; and performing network reentry to a target base station based on the handover command message, wherein the handover command message includes information required for handover to the target base station and information on whether the target base station supports handover using multi-carriers. Accordingly, it is possible to efficiently perform the handover in the wireless access system supporting the multi-carriers.
