摘要： A method for forming an interconnection structure in a semiconductor device includes the steps of forming a thin, first tungsten film in a via-hole by a first LPCVD process using SiH.sub.4 gas and WF.sub.6 gas simultaneously and forming a thick, second tungsten film to fill the via-hole by a second LPCVD process using H.sub.2 gas and WF.sub.6 gas, and patterning the second tungsten film to leave a tungsten plug in the via-hole. A reliable contact between the tungsten plug and an underlying interconnect or diffused region can be obtained by not introducing SiH4 gas alone to avoid an excess amount of SiH.sub.4.

摘要： A tape printing apparatus selects one of a plurality of kinds of print formats as a designated print format. Characters entered are arranged to form a character string. Print image data is formed by editing the character string based on the designated print format. Printing is carried out on a recording medium in the form of a tape being fed, based on the print image data. The plurality of kinds of print formats include any of a print format for printing by arranging each character of the character string in a direction other than a longitudinal direction of the printing medium in the form of a tape, a print format for printing by arranging the each character of the character string in a predetermined printable area, and a print format for printing by arranging the character string or the each character of the character string in a plurality of locations, and a print format for printing by changing an orientation of the each character in a direction different from an orientation thereof set in the character string.

摘要： A stamp-making apparatus is provided in which a transparent presser plate is arranged such that the presser plate is parallel with a stamp-making object material, an ink ribbon having a stamp image formed thereon is urged against the stamp-making object material via the presser plate, and exposure of the stamp-making object material to light is carried out via the ink ribbon as a mask. A ribbon feeder rolls out an ink ribbon wound around one end portion thereof to a position facing the stamp-making object material, and then rolls up the ink ribbon around another end portion thereof. A relative translation of the presser plate and the stamp-making object material is made toward each other by moving at least one of the presser plate and the stamp-making object material to thereby urge the ink ribbon against the stamp-making object material. Guide means guides the ink ribbon when the ink ribbon is fed, to space between the presser plate and the stamp-making object material. Tension of the ink ribbon is regulated in a manner linked to operation of the relative translation of the presser plate and the stamp-making object material made toward each other.

摘要： The present invention provides a tape printing device for printing a desirable series of characters on a tape and cutting the tape to a label of a desirable length, and also a tape cartridge used in the tape printing device. The tape cartridge has a characteristic element readably storing specific information on the tape such as a width of the tape. The tape printing device reads the characteristic element to control printing conditions according to the type of the tape cartridge. More specifically, the tape printing device determines a variety of parameters including a number of lines and character sizes of the character series printed on the tape as well as lengths of left and right margins. When a tape of a relatively large width is set in the tape cartridge, the device increases a rotation torque of a platen for feeding the tape. When a tape of a relatively small width is set in the tape cartridge, on the contrary, the device drives only specific dot elements in a range of the tape width out of all dot elements arranged on a printing head. The characteristic element of the tape cartridge stores the specific information expressed as depths of a plurality of holes or electric data. This specific information may be updated to identify a user or detect a residual amount of the tape.

摘要： A character information processor which can be applied to a tape printing device. The character information processor is provided with a read-only memory in which a table containing the levels of alternatives of a menu hierarchical structure set correspondingly to each edition function is stored. When an edition level is selected by an operator by keying, only edition operations, which are available at the selected edition level, are displayed on the screen of a display unit as choices. An example of the function of editing a character string is a function for enabling the restoration of a text, on which an edition operation such as an input operation and a deleting operation has been once performed. This function is implemented by providing a restoration buffer in the processor and by storing a character or a character string, on which an operation is performed, and a cause-for-restoration parameter representing a kind of an operation in the processor each time when an operation such as an input and a deletion is performed, and by performing a restoration operation according to the cause-for-restoration parameter. Further, regarding an operation of editing a printing layout, the processor has an operation of performing a text alignment by converting a full-size space, which is inputted by keying similarly as in the case of an ordinary character, into a half-size space to be treated as a space of a size, which is half of the size of a full-size character, when printing.

摘要： A tape printing apparatus includes a body, and a lid arranged on the body in a hinged-door form, the body having a pocket formed therein for removably loading a cartridge containing a tape-like member as a printing object material. An ejecting mechanism elevates the cartridge when the cartridge is in a state loaded in the pocket. The cartridge is classified into at least a small-height cartridge containing a tape-like member having a small width and a large-height cartridge containing a tape-like member having a large width. The body has a first support member arranged in the pocket for receiving a seating portion of the small-height cartridge in a shallow position in the pocket and a second support member arranged in the pocket for receiving a seating portion of the large-height cartridge in a deep position in the pocket. The first support member is arranged in a position away from the seating portion of the large-height cartridge when the large-height cartridge is loaded in the pocket. The second support member is arranged in a position away from the seating portion of the small-height cartridge loaded when the small-height cartridge is loaded in the pocket.
