Abstract: Provided are a resource periodicity configuration method and device, a link processing and establishing method and device. Specifically, the resource periodicity configuration method includes: receiving, by a network side, a traffic mode and/or a clock accuracy capability reported by a user equipment (UE); and sending, by the network side, resource configuration information to the UE, where the resource configuration information carries at least one of: a periodicity factor of a configuration resource, a periodicity granularity of the configuration resource, or a periodicity length of the configuration resource; and the configuration information is used for indicating semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) traffic or configured grant (CG) traffic of the UE.

In one example method, a wireless terminal receives a radio resource control message from a source node. The message indicates the use of a simultaneous connectivity mobility of the wireless terminal during a mobility procedure from the source node to a target node. The wireless terminal performs the mobility procedure based on the control message.

Abstract: Provided are a handover method and apparatus. In one form, a processor of user equipment detects a trigger event associated with activating or switching to one or more transmission control indication (TCI) states of a TCI states set associated with a first physical cell ID (PCI) for uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) transmission when one or more TCI states for a TCI state set associated with a second PCI is used by the user equipment for at least one of UL or DL transmission in one serving cell. The processor of the user equipment may then perform a procedure of activating or switching to the one or more TCI states of a TCI state set associated with the first PCI for UL and DL transmission in one serving cell.

Abstract: This disclosure generally relates performing UE authentication and registration with the core network, and in particular, to supporting secure interactions between the UE and the target AMF when the UE is re-allocated to the target AMF. During a UE registration procedure, the initial AMF generate a 5G-GUTI for the UE and retrieves a candidate AMF list. The initial AMF sends the generated 5G-GUTI (or 5G-S-TMSI), the candidate AMF list, and a full registration request message to the (R)AN for storage and subsequent use. The initial AMF, once determines an AMF re-allocation is needed, instruct the UE to re-start the registration procedure with the core network, by using the generated 5G-GUTI. The (R)AN selects the target AMF, and forward the stored full registration request message to the target AMF to complete the registration.
