    Abstract: A gas sensor element includes a solid electrolyte body, a measurement electrode film, and a measured-gas intake port. The measurement electrode film includes a noble metal region, a solid electrolyte region, and a mixed region in which a noble metal and a solid electrolyte are mixed together. The measurement electrode film has a structure in which a first average thickness of the mixed region within a first region is greater than a second average thickness of the mixed region within a second region that is closer to a center of the measurement electrode film than the first region in a direction along an intake direction of a measured gas is. The first region is a region from an electrode end on the measured-gas intake port side to ¼ of an overall length of the measurement electrode film in the direction along the intake direction of the measured gas.

    Abstract: A stator includes a stator core, an insulator, and a plurality of coils. The stator core is equipped with teeth which are arranged away from each other in a circumferential direction of the stator. The insulator is secured to the stator core. The coils are made of windings of conductive wires around the teeth. The stator also includes terminals (i.e., first terminals and a second terminal). The terminals include insulator retainers (i.e., first insulator retainers and a second insulator retainer) and crimps. The insulator retainers are secured to the insulator. Each of the crimps is disposed between two of the coils which are arranged adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction. Ends of the coils (i.e., first ends and second ends) are secured to the crimps.

    Abstract: A refrigeration cycle device includes a compressor, a radiator, a first decompression unit, a first evaporator, a second decompression unit, and a second evaporator. A refrigerant joining portion joins refrigerant having passed through the first evaporator and the second evaporator, on a refrigerant suction side of the compressor. The first decompression unit regulates a degree of superheating of the refrigerant between the first evaporator and the refrigerant joining portion on the basis of a first physical quantity having a correlation with the degree of superheating of the refrigerant flowing between the first evaporator and the refrigerant joining portion. The second decompression unit regulates a degree of superheating of the refrigerant between the refrigerant joining portion and the compressor on the basis of a second physical quantity having a correlation with the degree of superheating of the refrigerant flowing between the refrigerant joining portion and the compressor.

    Abstract: A magnet unit includes a plurality of arc-shaped magnets arranged in a circumferential direction and a magnet holder to which the magnets are secured. Each of the magnets has arc-shaped easy axes of magnetization which extend more parallel to the d-axis in a region close to the d-axis than those in a region close to the q-axis. The easy axes of magnetization define arc-shaped magnetic paths extending therealong. The magnets are arranged to be separate from each other across the d-axis or the q-axis. Each of the magnets has a q-axis end surface facing in the circumferential direction and placed in surface-to-surface contact with that of the circumferentially adjacent magnet. Each of the magnets has an armature-remote peripheral surface which faces away from the armature. Each of the armature-remote peripheral surfaces facing an attachment surface of the magnet holder through a clearance which is filled with a resin adhesive.

The display system includes a gesture detector that detects the gesture, a vision area detector that detects a vision area of the operator, a display that displays a gesture operation result that is an operation result of the gesture, and a display controller that executes a control related to display processing of the display. The display controller acquires the vision area detected by the vision area detector and a display area of the display, determines a positional relationship between the vision area and the display area, and displays the gesture operation result to the operator. The display controller determines a display mode of the gesture operation result based on the positional relationship between the vision area and the display area.

    Abstract: A circuit for detecting a leakage current in a semiconductor element includes a setting circuit and a detector. The semiconductor element includes a first terminal at a high-potential-side of the semiconductor element, a second terminal at a low-potential-side of the semiconductor element, and a control terminal. The control terminal receives a signal for controlling a conduction state between the first terminal and the second terminal. The setting circuit sets a duration during which a charging current flows to the control terminal as an undetectable duration, in response to turning on the semiconductor element. The detector outputs a detected signal based on a condition that the leakage current flowing from the control terminal to the second terminal, after the undetectable duration has been elapsed.
