摘要: Contaminated wastewater from the preparation of isophorone, isophoronenitrile and isophoronediamine is treated by A) 1. treating the wastewater from the preparation of isophoronenitrile from the reaction of isophorone with hydrogen cyanide by alkaline hydrolysis of isophoronenitrile to isophorone, and the salts of hydrogen cyanide within a pH range of 12.0 to 13.7 and at temperatures of 60 to 200° C., and 2. processing the wastewater from A) 1. by an oxidation, or B) treating the wastewater from the preparation of isophoronenitrile from the reaction of isophorone with hydrogen cyanide by an oxidation, or C) processing the wastewater from A) 1. and the wastewater from the preparation of isophorone and/or the wastewater from the preparation of isophoronediamine by an oxidation.

摘要: An electrochemical treatment of differently protected aniline or napthylamine results in the preparation of unsymmetrical 2, 2′-diaminebiaryls provided with different protecting groups. The treatment involves the protecting groups prior to the C, C coupling step. The co-reactants generally have different oxidation potentials which results from the selection of the protecting groups. The treatment also enables controlled access to the individual amino functions of the 2, 2′-diaminobiaryls by subsequent selective deprotection.

摘要: In a process for the epoxidation of propene, comprising the steps: reacting propene with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a titanium silicalite catalyst and a methanol solvent; separating non-reacted propene and propene oxide from the resulting reaction mixture to provide a solvent mixture comprising methanol and water in a combined amount of at least 90% by weight; and feeding this solvent mixture as a feed stream to a continuously operated methanol distillation column at a feed point in the middle section of said column to provide an overhead product comprising at least 90% by weight methanol and a bottoms product comprising at least 90% by weight water; the addition of a liquid defoamer, having a solubility in the feed stream of less than 10 mg/kg at 25° C. and a surface tension at the liquid air interface of less than 22 mN/m at 20° C., at or above the feed point in an amount exceeding the solubility of the liquid defoamer in the feed stream suppresses foam formation in the methanol distillation column.

摘要: Polyurethane foam compositions and processes to make flexible polyurethane foams are disclosed. Polyurethane foam is produced in the presence of additives comprising guanidine derivatives. Improvements in physical properties such as air flow, dimensional stability, tensile, tear, elongation and foam hardness is observed when these additives are present in polyurethane formulations. In addition, these additives can minimize polymer degradation under humid ageing conditions resulting in foam products with better mechanical properties.

摘要: A process for the production of a pipe comprising: an interior surface having a shape; and a thermoplastic inliner is provided. The process comprises: introducing the thermoplastic inliner into the interior of the pipe; heating the pipe from the outside to a temperature higher than a crystallite melting point (Tm) of a molding composition of an exterior surface of the inliner; expanding the inliner radially in the pipe so that an exterior surface of the inliner assumes the shape of the interior surface of the pipe; and cooling the inliner; wherein a cross section of the inliner is optionally reduced through exposure to an exterior force prior to being introduced into the pipe. Relative movements between carrier pipe and inliner are thus prevented; the risk of collapse of the inliner is moreover low. The pipe is used for the production of a laid pipeline.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for coupling two arenes with selenium dioxide to give a selenobiaryl ether. The method of the present invention includes: adding a first arene to the reaction mixture, adding a second arene to the reaction mixture, adding selenium dioxide to the reaction mixture, adding an acid having a pKa in the range from 0 to 5 to the reaction mixture, and adjusting the reaction temperature of the reaction mixture such that the first arene and the second arene are converted to a selenobiaryl ether.
