摘要: A display panel includes a common electrode formed in an upper layer above a data line, a first insulating layer covering the common electrode, a touch sensor line formed in an upper layer of the first insulating layer and in a first opening provided in the first insulating layer, and connected to the common electrode via the first opening, a second insulating layer covering the touch sensor line, and a pixel electrode formed in an upper layer of the second insulating layer. The first insulating layer is formed with a second opening between the common electrode and the pixel electrode. The second insulating layer is disposed in an interior of the second opening and formed with a recessed portion recessed downward into a portion above the second opening. At least a portion of the pixel electrode is disposed in the recessed portion of the second insulating layer.

摘要: A display device according to aspect of the disclosure includes: a source driver; and a timing controller. The source driver and the timing controller perform data communication through serial transmission. The display device further includes a storage unit configured to store information about each of a plurality of standards that are different from each other, the standard defining a protocol for specific serial transmission. The timing controller selects one standard from among the plurality of standards, performs first determination that is determination on the selected standard to determine whether to receive a lock signal from the source driver within a predetermined period after training pattern data compatible with the selected standard is output to the source driver, and outputs an image signal of the protocol of the selected standard to the source driver when a result of the first determination is positive.

摘要: Provided is a liquid crystal display device including a first and second sub-pixels and including a first and second substrates. The first substrate includes a common electrode, an interlayer insulating film, and a first and second sub-pixel electrodes. The first and second sub-pixel electrodes each include linear electrode portions at an edge area and a linear electrode portion at a central area. The interlayer insulating film includes a region overlapping the linear electrode portions at the edge area and a region overlapping the linear electrode portion at the central area for each sub-pixel and the regions are different in at least one of a film thickness or a relative permittivity. An electric field strength between the common electrode and the linear electrode portions at the edge area is lower than an electric field strength between the common electrode and the linear electrode portion at the central area.

摘要: An active matrix substrate includes a first TFT disposed in each of pixel regions, a first flattened layer covering the first TFT, and a pixel electrode provided on the first flattened layer. The first TFT includes a lower gate electrode, a lower gate insulating layer, an oxide semiconductor layer, an upper gate insulating layer, and an upper gate electrode. The active matrix substrate further includes a first connection electrode for electrically connecting a drain contact region of the oxide semiconductor layer and the pixel electrode. The first flattened layer includes a pixel contact hole formed so as to expose a part of the first connection electrode. The bottom face of the pixel contact hole at least partially overlaps, of a lower gate metal layer including a lower gate electrode and an upper gate metal layer including an upper gate electrode, at least the lower gate metal layer when viewed from the normal direction of the substrate. The first connection electrode is formed from a transparent conductive material.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate; a second substrate; and a vertical alignment-type liquid crystal layer. The first substrate includes a backplane circuit, a first interlayer insulating layer covering the backplane circuit, a first reflective electrode provided on the first interlayer insulating layer and including a first region located in each of pixels and a second region located between any two adjacent pixels, a second interlayer insulating layer covering the first reflective electrode, and a pixel electrode provided on the second interlayer insulating layer in each pixel. The pixel electrode is electrically connected with the backplane circuit in first and second contact holes formed in the first and second interlayer insulating layers. The first substrate further includes a second reflective electrode provided on the second interlayer insulating layer so as to overlap the first contact hole as seen in a direction normal to a display surface.

摘要: A touch panel includes a transmission electrode layer that includes a transmission electrode to which a drive signal is supplied, a reception electrode layer that includes a position detection electrode and a pressing force detection electrode that form capacitance between the transmission electrode layer and themselves, in accordance with the capacitance, at least one of touching and pressing force is detected. The pressure-sensitive layer includes a first dielectric layer of which dielectric constant exhibits negative temperature properties in a predetermined temperature range, and a second dielectric layer of which dielectric constant exhibits positive temperature properties in the predetermined temperature range.
