    摘要： An inkjet printhead includes an ink supply channel extending through a substrate; an ink chamber arranged on the substrate, into which chamber ink from the ink supply channel is supplied, the ink chamber defining an ink ejection port on one surface thereof; an internal rim provided within the ink chamber, the rim interposed between the ink supply channel and the ink ejection port; and a thermal bend actuator extending into the chamber from outside the chamber, the thermal bend actuator terminating in the chamber with a paddle. The periphery of the paddle and the internal rim are shaped with complementary edges turned towards the ink ejection port.

The printhead is plumbed such that a first color plane positioned furthest upstream with respect to the media feed direction ejects yellow ink and a second color plane neighboring the first color plane ejects black ink.

    摘要： A system for reducing ink color mixing effects in a printer is provided having a printhead having multiple ink color channels mounted to a housing of the printer at a first level, and a plurality of ink supply cartridges mounted to the printer housing so as to be fluidically connected to the printhead and stacked in an array having a plurality of rows defining a plurality of levels which are lower than the first level. The plurality of ink supply cartridges include at least one black ink supply cartridge which supplies black colored ink to a black ink color channel of the printhead. The black ink supply cartridge is disposed at the lowest level defined by the array.

The maintenance assembly includes: (i) an elongate web of material; (ii) rollers for supporting the web; (iii) a maintenance member positioned opposite the printhead; (iv) a web-feeding mechanism for advancing the web past the printhead; and (v) an actuating mechanism for configuring the printer in either one of a maintenance position and a printing position. A gap is defined between the web and the printhead in the printing position.
