More particularly, a flame mitigation device (26) has at least one sensor (25) configured to sense a flame (21), and at least one suppression agent (28) release device configured to release a flame suppression agent into the projected flame path when the flame is sensed. The sensor (25) may sense the flame either directly or indirectly. A flame mitigation system (26) is also disclosed, wherein the system includes an enclosure (22) and at least one pressure release device configured to release a flame from the enclosure. The system (26) may include at least one sensor (25) configured to sense the flame (21), and a device configured to release a suppression agent (28). A method of mitigating a flame in a combustible material system is also disclosed.

摘要： Thermocouples are suspended to extend vertically and centrally of a coal reservoir to sense temperatures of coal at vertically plural points. When at least one of temperatures of coal sensed exceeds a preset temperature, a purge command signal is output by a controller to an inert gas valve. When a temperature increase rate of at least one of the coal temperatures sensed exceeds a preset rate, a water spraying command signal is output by the controller to a water spraying valve.

摘要： A fire extinguishing system is adapted particularly for incorporation with a clothes dryer in a home laundry area, for extinguishing any fire occurring from ignition of lint or other combustible material. The system may also be installed with other large, heat producing appliances (kitchen stove, etc.) for extinguishing any fire resulting therefrom. The system includes one or more conventional, heat activated fire extinguisher spray heads connected to the main water line of the structure. Each extinguisher head is secured in a fitting including an automatically actuated water shutoff valve, which closes after the fire has been extinguished to reduce water damage to the surrounding area. The system also includes an automatic disconnect or shutoff for at least the electrical circuit associated with the appliance which causes activation of the extinguisher head, and may further include an automatically actuated local (household) and/or distant (fire department) alarm.

The device includes a valve (18) which can be controlled to block the pipeline when a risk of fire is indicated in the pipeline and/or connected parts, and a container (16) with an extinguishing agent. The extinguishing agent intended to be fed into the pipeline (10) as the pipeline is blocked by the valve preferably consists of a gas or liquid. The container (16) is connected to the valve (18) via a line (10) for the extinguishing agent. In this way, an extinguishing agent passing out of the container (16) will initiate the release of the valve (18).
