    摘要: A method for producing printing formes, which serve for the printing of a substrate web with a seamless or transitionless, endless or format-variable print image in offset print, is disclosed. For each printing color of the print image to be printed, a total separation of the respective printing color is divided over at least two printing formes so that with a first printing forme a first part separation of the total separation and with a second printing forme a second part separation of the total separation can be printed onto the substrate web. The substrate web in first portions can be exclusively printed by the first part separation and in second portions can be exclusively printed by the second part separation. The substrate web in third portions can be printed by the first part separation and by the second part separation in an overlapping or overlaying manner.

The method includes wrapping a sheet of a material having a first end and a second end to bring the second end adjacent the first end to form a base sleeve having an axial seam of the first and second ends. The first end has a non-linear edge having an amplitude. Portions between the first end and the second end overlap and form the axial seam. The method can include applying an imageable material adjacent an exterior surface of the base sleeve that covers at least a portion of the axial seam.

The coating device includes an irradiation stage that is arranged to be moveable with the annular coating stage and to provide radiation to at least partially cure the layer of coating formulation onto the peripheral surface so as to prevent flow off of the coating formulation.

    摘要: Flexographic printing plates and other relief images can be formed from a laser-ablatable element having a laser-ablatable layer that is at least 20 μm in thickness. The laser-ablatable layer includes a film-forming material that is a laser-laser-ablatable material or the film-forming material has dispersed therein a laser-ablatable material. The laser-ablatable material is a polymeric material that when heated to 300° C. at a rate of 10° C./minute, loses at least 60% of its mass to form at least one predominant low molecular weight product. The element can be imaged by ablation at an energy of at least 1 J/cm2 to provide a relief image.

The shim carries a pattern to be embossed on a decorative medium, such that the image on the decorative medium contains no production seams. The methods comprise several steps. First, the a flat shim is casted onto a plastic cylinder to form a plastic master with the pattern on the outer surface to form a plastic master. Second, the plastic master is used to produce a metal master by depositing a layer of metal on the outer surface of the plastic master. Lastly, the metal master is then used to formed the seamless embossing shim by depositing a layer of metal on the inner surface of the metal master.

After contact has been made, the blank is fixed by activating the suction elements on the plate suction frame so as to be aligned level, and transported in a stable position to the round shaping device. The raw form is deposited on the round shaping device so as to be aligned level and fixed in-register.
