    摘要： A card/carrier combination sorter system is described that is configured for use with a card/carrier combination production system. The sorter system includes an input that is in communication with an output of the production system so as to receive a plurality of card/carrier combinations one-by-one from the production system. The sorter system is configured to sort the plurality of card/carrier combinations into one or more bins of the sorter system. In some embodiments, a card/carrier combination is not diverted and is instead output through an output of the sorter system to an inserter system for insertion into an envelope and subsequent mailing.

    摘要： A continuous motion can decorator is provided with a power driven means that moves undecorated cans through a feed chute. A pocket wheel, for loading of cans onto mandrels, receives cans directly from the chute. Adjacent pockets of the pocket wheel are connected by a lead-in surface that is tangent to the downstream pocket at a point radially outward of the tangent between the lead-in surface and the upstream pocket. The lead-in surface is of essentially constant radius. A can when initially fully seated in a pocket is engaged by a can in the chute which is positioned so that the center thereof is essentially on a line extending through the center of the fully seated can and the center about which the lead-in surface is formed.

    摘要： Apparatus and process for hot-stamping molded plastic containers in which the container is moved past a heated die having a platen with a printing die, the die being universally movable so that linear uniform pressure is exerted between a confronting container surface and die surface. As the container moves across the die surface, it is rotated so that foil which is pinched between the container and die is transferred onto the surface of the rotatable container. The uniform linear pressure between container and die, transfers foil to the accompaniment of rotation of the container so that defect-free lamination of foil is transferred onto the container surface to form decorative or alpha numeric information. The operation is continuous, with successively spaced containers moving into printing position relatively to the die, where the hot-stamping operation is repeated. Containers are automatically removed after printing, and successive containers supplied either manually or automatically.

    摘要： A printing apparatus having a back plate integrally connected to a ram capable of reciprocating or being stationary. The back plate has a surface that corresponds to the printing surface. A die carrying indicia is made to adjust to the contour of the printing surface automatically by use of spring bias means or resilient padding. Insert heaters are connected to each die. They allow flexibility of design and provide each die and/or decoration with a constant differing heat. Therefore, printing and decorating can be done on various sizes and shapes of plastic surfaces in a variety of colors.
