Abstract: In a method for mixed operation of a section of railroad line, the section of line is trafficable by trains equipped with a train control system, and by trains not equipped with this train control system. The section of line is provided with a switch so that in the event that a train not equipped with the train control system is to enter the section of line from the direction of a side track, the section of line is indicated as occupied. The occupied indication is triggered by a first throwing of the switch in the direction of the side track. After the train not equipped with the train control system has passed through, the occupied indication is canceled. The cancelation is triggered by a second throwing of the switch. After throwing of the switch, a clearing run is carried out on the section of line by an equipped train.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a train-ground interlocking method and system for rail transit train operation control. In the train-ground interlocking method, a train is taken as a subject of wayside and carborne resource management, and the train actively calculates a required resource according to a “movement mission”, applies to a wayside at an appropriate time and location, uses the resource after obtaining a resource use authority, and actively releases the resource after use of the resource; and once the wayside allocates the resource to one of other trains, the resource cannot be reallocated without being released by the train. Compared to the prior art, the present disclosure has the following advantages: interlocking control of integration of the train and wayside equipment is achieved, rail transit is improved from original passive and indirect interlocking control of the train to active and direct interlocking control of the train, the train safety protection function and the utilization efficiency of wayside resources are further improved, and safe, timely and appropriate match between a movement behavior of the train and a status of the wayside equipment is truly realized.

Abstract: A method of communication-based train control system migration includes scanning a guideway to generate surveying data and processing surveying data to calculate a 3-D representation of the guideway. Appropriate locations are determined for the communication-based control devices on the guideway. Communication-based train control devices are installed in a guideway at the determined appropriate locations and vehicles are retrofitted with an autonomy platform. Testing of the control devices and retrofit vehicles is performed. A communication-based train control system is used to control the retrofit vehicles when they operate within the guideway.

An operating plan determining unit determines the operating mode of each of the vehicles to be an operating mode having a smallest index value.

Abstract: A running profile generation device includes a storage, a speed limit setter, a reverse coasting curve generator, a parameter setter and a simulator. The speed limit setter acquires at least one speed limit section of a running section set based on a departure point and an arrival point of the running section. The reverse coasting curve generator determines a base point from a terminal position and an upper limit speed of the speed limit section and generates a reverse coasting curve based on vehicle performance information and route information stored in the storage. The parameter setter determines a coasting start position from the generated reverse coasting curve. The reverse coasting curve generator sets a range below the upper limit speed as a coasting range and sets a range at at least the upper limit speed to the upper limit speed during coasting from the base point toward the departure point.

Abstract: A signaling system includes an on-board device, a station interface device and a platform screen door. The on-board device is provided in a moving vehicle. The station interface device is provided in a station. The platform screen door is provided in the station and controlled by the station interface device. When the moving vehicle has stopped at the station, the on-board device outputs a door open permission command to instruct release of a lock state. The station interface device releases the lock state of the platform screen door in response to the door open permission command. After the lock state is released, the on-board device outputs a door open command to instruct the opening of the platform screen door. The station interface device opens the platform screen door in response to the door open command. The on-board device opens doors of the moving vehicle.
