摘要： A flowable media dispensing device is shown that includes a removable sealing device that seals a dispensing opening of the dispensing device when not in use, and is removed to expose the dispensing opening during application of the flowable media. The use of a sealing device permits the user to leave unused media such as drywall joint compound inside the dispensing device when not in use. The time consuming step of cleaning the dispensing device after every use is therefore eliminated. Further, media such as drywall joint compound that would previously have been wasted during the cleaning process is saved, providing more efficient use of the dispensing device.

摘要： A drywall mud applicator, designed to quickly and easily apply a first layer of mud or mastic material to a joint in preparation for applying drywall tape thereto. The applicator includes a main housing comprising two side plates pivotally connected to an intermediate member. During use, the side plates are centrally aligned over a joint located between adjacent drywall panels so that each side plate is positioned against the adjoining drywall surface. The intermediate member is longitudinally aligned over the longitudinal axis of the joint. Attached to each side plate is a guide member that slides laterally over the side plate's front surface to control the width of the mud applied to the joint. A guide plate locking mechanism is provided for selectively locking the guide members in a desired position on the two side plates. A bellows is connected to the intermediate member and is used to evenly distribute mud to port openings formed on the two side plates.

摘要： The present invention comprises a stucco wall structure for a building. The wall substrate is arranged for receipt of subsequent layers of surface material. The margin or periphery of said wall to be treated has a screed attached thereto. A sprayed-on coating of urethane is applied onto the wall substrate between the screeds to insure continuous bonding and adherency to the substrate. A first layer of polymer-based base coat and mesh covering is applied to the sprayed-on coating of urethane to provide anchoring and adhesion of a subsequent layer of stucco. An outer layer of stucco applied over the first layer of polymer-based base coat as a final coat thereon.

摘要： A dispensing tool will mix and dispense viscous material having first and second parts or constituents. The tool has a handheld elongated tube with a nozzle on one end. A blender is located adjacent the nozzle. The first constituent is located within a chamber in the tube. The second constituent is located in a reservoir mounted to the tube. The blender has an inlet receiving first and second constituents and a rotary member for mixing the constituents and delivering them through an outlet to the nozzle. A piston driven by a wheel delivers the first constituent to the blender. The wheel rotates when the nozzle end of the tube is advanced along an application surface, causing the piston to move and the blender to rotate. A pump, also driven by the wheel, supplies a second constituent from the reservoir to the blender.

摘要： A drywall finishing system for inside and outside drywall corners including regular corners and bullnose corners. A special roller tool with a flexible frame and four rollers is used to press prefabricated drywall trim into place over a coating of drywall mud. Embodiments for inside and outside corners differ in that the rollers for inside corners are opposed and those for exterior corners are open, in both cases forming an angle of 84 to 87 degrees but able to flex from 84 degrees to over 97 degrees to match an corner angle. A special edge finisher mud box then allows the tapered edges of the trim pieces to be feathered and brought to a finished state. The mud box has several different front slots for coarse and final feathering.

摘要： A system for supplying drywall mud in a viscous, flowable, semi-liquid form from a container for alternately filling at least two different types of drywall mud applicator devices is disclosed. The system includes a hand pump having a body partially disposed in a quantity of drywall mud in an open top container and a two way diverter valve having an inlet port attached to a discharge port on an upper end of the pump and the two outlet ports. One of the valve outlet ports is connected to a gooseneck tube for filling a bazooka type of drywall mud applicator and tape dispensing device. The other of the valve outlet ports is adapted for connection to a charging port of conventional corner box type drywall mud applicator device. A switch on a housing of the valve switches the valve inlet ports alternately into and out of communication with each of the valve outlet ports for alternately filling both types of applicator device without need for modifying the system. A two-way diverter valve for handling drywall mud when in a viscous, flowable, semi-liquid state is also disclosed.

摘要： An apparatus for pumping mortar. A hopper for containment of mortar is mounted on a portable frame. A mortar pump has an inlet located within a lower portion of the hopper, and a discharge located outside the hopper. A rotary drive shaft has a lower end attached to the mortar pump, and a median portion passing through the contained mortar. The drive shaft is oriented at a vertical angle sufficient so that an upper end of the shaft extends above an upper level of the mortar. An engine, also mounted on the frame, rotates the upper end of the drive shaft, powering the mortar pump. One end of a mortar distribution hose is connected to the discharge of the pump. The other end of the hose extends to a remote location, and is fitted with a mortar application nozzle. Mortar is pre-mixed in a concrete mixer and poured into the hopper. The mortar pump forces mortar through the distribution hose and out the nozzle, where it is directed by a mason on to joints and into grout lines.
