摘要： A portable drywall joint compound pump workstation has a joint compound supply reservoir with an open top and closed bottom removably attached to a wheeled framework. The workstation further has a pump assembly including a pump control removably connected to the framework for pumping joint compound from the supply reservoir to a workstation outlet extending from the pump control. The pump assembly includes a high pressure cylinder connected to a valve and quick coupling arrangement which, in turn, is in communication with the supply reservoir through the bottom end thereof. A discharge line extends between the high pressure cylinder and the pump control for feeding joint compound from the supply reservoir to the pump control. A first discharge port is provided on the pump control for continuously feeding a variety of drywall finishing tools. A second discharge port is provided on the pump control for supplying wash down water to clean tools or act as a source of high pressure fluid. A purge line runs between the pump control and the supply reservoir for priming, recirculating and mixing drywall compound in the reservoir.

摘要： A tape applicator effectively applies adhesive-backed drywall tape along both flat joints and corner joints. The applicator has a common tape dispenser to which a flat joint header and a corner joint header can be removably attached. The dispenser includes a tape guide located near a tape outlet for the dispenser as well as a tape break. The flat joint header has a cylindrical application roller with a resilient surface that allows the roller to follow the contour of the wall while maintaining proper pressure distribution to completely and securely press the tape against the wall. The corner header includes a creaser wheel that creases the tape into a corner and a guide roller that guides the tape from the dispenser outlet to the creaser wheel. A corner roller having a resilient surface can be used effectively to wipe down creased tape over a corner joint. Both the flat joint and corner headers include tape cutters to selectively cut tape dispensing from the apparatus. The applicator can be used with many kinds of adhesive-backed tapes, including reinforced drywall tape, fire tape and mesh tape.

The pump has an inlet and an outlet, and is supported by a frame at a location above the bottom of the container. 摘要： A drywall taper is provided for applying drywall compound and tape to a wallboard joint. The drywall taper has an applicator head mounted on one end of a drywall compound storage device having a movable plunger with a drywall compound flow path extending from an opposite end of the storage device to an outlet on the applicator head. A pressurized air arrangement is provided for pushing the plunger and delivering drywall compound through the drywall compound flow path. An actuating arrangement is slidably disposed upon the storage body and is engaged with a tape advancing mechanism, a tape severing device and a creaser wheel assembly for separately controlling tape advancement, tape severing and creaser wheel movement. In another version, the plunger is eliminated so that a substantially continuous flow of pressurized drywall compound is provided through an unobstructed delivery tube to the applicator head.

摘要： An apparatus is provided for permitting a substantially continuous flow of drywall compound to a wallboard joint. The apparatus includes a delivery tube for delivering drywall compound completely therethrough. The delivery tube has a first end connected to a drywall compound supply assembly fed directly by a source of pressurized drywall compound. The delivery tube also has a second end opposite the first end in communication with a drywall compound dispensing head. A normally closed, pressure sensitive valve arrangement is interposed between the second end of the delivery tube and the dispensing head for controlling the starting and stopping of drywall compound flow between the delivery tube and the dispensing head.

摘要： A drywall finishing head is provided for applying mastic material over a tape joint between adjacent wallboard surfaces. The finishing head includes a coater connected to a pneumatic applicator for delivering the mastic material. A wiper blade extends across the length of the coater with a cover underlying the wiper blade and a backer bar overlying the wiper blade. A cam assembly is rotatably mounted on a tensioning portion of the coater. Adjustment of the cam assembly is constructed and arranged to change the force of the backer boar so that a proper crown or profile of mastic material can be delivered to the tape joint through a gap between the cover and the wiper blade.

摘要： A portable drywall joint compound pump workstation supplies joint compound to a workstation outlet that is conveniently located. The workstation includes a joint compound supply reservoir having an open top, a pump that pumps joint compound from the supply reservoir, a portable cart that supports the supply reservoir and the pump, and a removable transport tube that feeds joint compound from the pump to the workstation outlet. With the transport tube in place the workstation outlet is held in a relatively stable position in the vicinity of the open top of the supply reservoir. The pump is located below the joint compound supply reservoir, and is a gravity-fed, pneumatic diaphragm pump. The pump inlet is connected to the bottom of the supply reservoir and the pump outlet is located beneath the pump inlet. The pump is thus self-draining. A compressed air manifold assembly including a plurality of compressed air supply ports is provided. A number of accessories are also provided to facilitate the handling of drywall joint compound, and on-site rinsing and cleaning of the workstation and various drywall finishing tools.

摘要： An apparatus for applying joint compound is externally powered, preferably using compressed air. The preferred apparatus has a hollow tubular storage body that is connected to a supply of compressed air, and a movable plunger positioned within the hollow tubular storage body. The plunger has a pair of rubber seals that contact the inner wall of the storage body. A supply of joint compound is inserted into the storage body on the side of the plunger opposite the side of the plunger that can be exposed to pressurized air. Pressurized air can be supplied by the user against the plunger to push the supply of joint compound out of the storage body through a mud supply head. An applicator tip is connected to the mud supply head and can be connected to either a flat joint attachment or a corner joint attachment. Alternatively, other attachments can be used such as a texture gun attachment, a fireproofing attachment, or a water cleaning attachment.
