    摘要: Inductive displacement sensors and methods of using them may be useful in a variety of contexts. For example, systems for precisely measuring linear or angular motion may use inductive displacement sensors to measure changes in position. An apparatus, such as a sensor, can include a primary inductor. The apparatus can also include a first secondary inductor that is field-coupled to the primary inductor. The apparatus can further include a second secondary inductor that is field-coupled to the primary inductor. The first secondary inductor and the second secondary inductor can be configured as coordinated inductors to detect motion of a coupler. The coordinated inductors can be configured to provide a reference signal and a measurement signal, wherein the reference signal has a constant amplitude across a range of motion of the coupler.

    摘要: A resonant impedance sensing system includes a negative impedance control loop incorporating the resonator as a loop filter, and including a class D negative impedance stage implemented with a class D comparator, and a loop control stage implemented with an output comparator clocked (D_clk) by the class D comparator. The class D comparator receives resonator oscillation voltage, and generates a class D switching output synchronized with resonator oscillation frequency. A discrete current source (such as a current DAC) drives the resonator through an H-bridge switched by the class D switching output, so that the time average of the discrete drive current corresponds to resonator oscillation amplitude. Based on resonator oscillation amplitude, the output comparator provides a discrete loop control signal to the discrete current source, driving the resonator with a negative impedance that balances resonant impedance, thereby maintaining constant resonator oscillation amplitude corresponding to steady-state oscillation.

    摘要: A stroke sensor system includes a vehicle-body-side member, a wheel-side member, and a movement-amount deriving section. The movement-amount deriving section derives a movement amount of relative movement between the vehicle-body-side member and the wheel-side member. At least a part of one of the vehicle-body-side member and the wheel-side member is a conductor, and the other is provided with a coil. The movement-amount deriving section includes an even number of capacitors and an even number of exciting sections. The even number of capacitors are electrically coupled to the coil and configure an LC resonance section. The even number of exciting sections are for exciting an oscillation waveform output by the LC resonance section. The even number of capacitors and the even number of exciting sections are divided into equal numbers to configure a balanced circuit. The movement-amount deriving section derives the movement amount based on the oscillation waveform.

The magnetic array provides a spatially modulated magnetic field that is concentrated in the near-field. A processor calculates the ferromagnetic object's speed based on voltage induced in the conductive coil. The ferromagnetic object's movement through the magnetic field causes a change in the magnetic flux, and the rate of change is proportional to the induced voltage.

The spacing between the centres of adjacent targets of the first array (12) differs from that of the second (14). The device further comprises a first set (18) of pulse-induction coils comprising a plurality of such coils and a second set (20) of pulse-induction coils comprising a plurality of such coils. The coils of the first set (18) are fixed relative to those of the second set (20). Those of the first set (18) are located adjacent to the first array (12) of targets. Those of the second set (20) are located adjacent to the second array (14) of targets. The targets (the said first and second arrays together) and the coils (the said first and second sets together) are movable relative to one another. The device further comprises indicator circuitry (22) connected to the first and second sets (18 and 20) of pulse induction coils to provide a signal dependent upon the outputs thereof indicative of the position of the coils relative to the targets.Also a position indicator device (10) comprising at least one pulse-induction affecting target (12), at least one pulse-induction coil (18), and pulse-induction indicator circuitry (22) connected to the said at least one pulse-induction coil (18) to provide a signal dependent upon the output thereof indicative of the position of the said at least one pulse-induction coil (18) relative to the said at least one pulse-induction affecting target (12). The system includes a sensor for sensing a first physical signal having a physical nature and representing a speed of rotation of a rotor of the wind turbine, and for providing a corresponding output signal; means for receiving the output signal from the sensor and for determining, based on the output signal, if the speed of rotation exceeds a threshold of speed of rotation; and means for initiating, if the speed of rotation exceeds the threshold of speed of rotation, an action reducing the speed of rotation. The test tool provides a second physical signal of the same physical nature as the first physical signal, is suitable for supplying the second physical signal to the sensor so as to simulate the rotation of the wind turbine.
